I'm surprised that they only caught onto this now. I've known for some time now that PS4 PS+ games have been universal.

Sony really did have a huge booth with lots of games. They published the list excluding the stuff that was shown at their press conference (obviously this was released shortly before E3, they didn't want to ruin surprises)

Destiny is NOT a Halo clone or anything even remotely close to it. Some of the things might seem similar but that's where things end.
Destiny features multiple concepts in play here. MMORPG, ARPG and FPS. The FPS part of it makes it similar to Halo, especially given that it's from Bungie, and the ARPG part of it makes it feel similar to Borderlands, but it's not quite the same.

As for resale value, I sell games for their true value (not fake resale value at Gamestop) and after factoring in Amazon fees, shipping, materials, etc., you're looking at 7 bucks.

Sony is also trying to encourage Japanese developers to do indie games as well, so this kind of event will only help the Japanese gaming industry. Japan used to make a lot of games back in the PS2 generation because it was cheap to develop. They moved over to the DS b/c it was cheap to develop.

It matters a lot. 1st party exclusives are titles that, not only can they establish a console and their brand, they also bring in consistent cash through guaranteed sequels.
3rd party exclusives though, they don't establish that console's brand and the 3rd party making that game has no loyalty to that console. They're not likely to tune the game to that console's strengths (ie: Naughty Dog/Uncharted) and subsequent games are likely to go multiplatform b/c 3...

PS+ Driveclub is licensed to you at no cost. On the download list, this would show up as Driveclub PS+ Edition as an individual item.
