As a fighting game fan who has been playing fighters since the early 80's you are completely wrong to say there is little problem with lag on 1v1 online.

My buddy plays DOA4 online allot and there is always jitters/missed moves due to ping. And I have been playing cps2 games via mame (sfa3 etc) and Kof games for years and there is always lag.
VF5 and indeed all fighters call for 1 frame timings on all...
Well I'll say It again, if you do these side by sides on multi platform games, the 360 will always have better colours because ATI has better image than Nvidia. Having said that, the 360 one looks TOO dark to the point where you can't see detail in the blacks. Still looks better than the ps3 one though.
Oh and one more thing, you all know this game is $h1t yeah?
It was the 1st, and its still the best. Always one step ahead of the competition/imitators. Vf5 is an incredible achievement.
Having said that, I do LOVE d.o.a series too. Some people do claim it has too many 'cheap' reversals but I don't think so. The thing d.o.a games have over the competition Id say is the level interactivity. Like smashing through a ceiling to a next level etc.
I myself have allot of admiration for ARTISTIC design as well as game play. And Japanese developers blow the west away on both counts imo. They have a wonderful eye for colour, camera angles etc. Western games are great but not too original. There are allot of genres that both sides do well, or not as well depending on opinion. And then there is fighting games. The west just doesn't do this good in ANY way at all.

Stop ripping on Motorstorm when you haven't even played it. Most rally games are boring anyway, especially compared with Motorstorm which is designed from the ground up to be insanely FUN. It does not matter about amounts of vehicles/tracks etc if the games is boring like most rally games.

I've been gaming since the Zx81. And I bet not allot of you here remember that lol. Well, again your talking about multi console crap my friend. The games that set apart machines are the games designed for a specific machine. So if the 360 is sweet at pc style games, since it is a watered down pc, then all power to it. But I like where Sony has gone b4 and where it's going now. I love fps and such , but we all need originality and that's what's coming down the road with cell specific applications like 32 player warhawk games or insane physics of LittleBigWorld.

Xbox 1 did not kill the ps2, it was a buggy pile of crap. Where u get that assumption from? I had 1st gen xbox scratch my game discs. My replacement one died on me so I ended up at three consoles. I still have on the other hand, my ORIGINAL launch ps2 and ther is nothing wrong with it. Oh and its still the best dvd player I ever seen, unlike the $hite xbox1 dvd player. And don't even get me started on how $hit xbox controllers are.
I'm a ps3 owner and I love it. But it's easy to see the 360 has very smooth anti aliasing. Now it's stated that its a blur filter? I dunno.
Looks like AA to me. On the flip side, Sony always went with barely any AA on their machines which results in screen shots that look a little jaggy, but when moving on the screen it looks alot more 'crisp' than other machines using some AA.
