Everyone knows by now that film license games are not real games. Just a pile of crap rushed out and purchased by kids who like the movies.

Anyway, I dont have a 7.1 receiver but I do have 5.1 and to tell you the truth, I find regular uncompressed sound to be way better. The digital may have more accuracy but its compressed allot and sounds weaker, not as meaty. That's what I have found anyway.
But your forgetting VF5 is about as old too in the arcades. It's not like it was coded when the ps3 version came out. It had been in the arcades for over a year, and yes, it looks and plays way better than DOA. (imo)
And your gravity argument saying that it's the only reason why VF is 'so called technical' as you say, just shows your either not good at it, or never really bothered with it.
Sega are the leader and the innovator in this field. And all the others are playing catch...

Admittedly DO4 has been out ages, but so has vf5 in the arcades (ps3 is exactly the same) and vf5 blows doa away. Way more advanced texture bump mapping and lighting and just way better game play mechanics. Doa games do have flashy ring interaction and more of a Tecmo 'cartoony' look, but they are also cheap and not as intuitive as VF games. You all know those 'hammer the reversal button' noobs in doa games.
Anyhoo my vote goes VF over all 3d fighters...easy.

Some amazing physics going on there. Some real crazy real time effects look real nice. I'll keep an eye on this one for sure.
You know 360 is NOT ever going to be a dominant console, lets face it. The Wii? Well yeah I love Nintendo too, and graphics certainly are not everything, (though I must say, the Wii gfx are SH!TE) but Sony has positioned the ps3 to be a multi purpose machine. Especially if Blu-ray vs HD-DVD continues as it is (with HD_DVD losing) they are set well for a long successful future. Yes it's expensive right now. Yes, 360 has tons more games right now. But it's only been 7 months and it's moving FAS...
This GT-HD we keep seeing is this the free demo of the now canned ps2-tech GT-HD? If so when can I see shots of the REAL next gen racer GT5?

2k7 is kinda glitchy and the menu system is just HORRENDOUS. I hope they can make a BBALL game with 2k7's feel, but more polished, and a decent fluid menu.
I played the 360 one which my brother in law claimes is 'better' than gta games.....pffft! What a load of crap. IT's crap and I wont miss it.
