I think the only one feeling threatened is them. They have a solid game, so them reacting this way is childish and foolish of them. No one should take them seriously when they had no second thoughts on basically taking the whole concept from H1Z1.
Lol it only matters now that they’re selling so much. It definitely didn’t matter to them when they took the idea and general concept of their game from H1Z1 and others.

I can guarantee you that it won’t come close. Their core philosophy, as preached by Phil and Aaron has been that single player games aren’t the future. That mindset is going to hinder a lot of the future content that may come out.

I'd have become a rich man if I had a literal penny for every time I heard someone list Crackdown 3 or Sea of Thieves as a soon to release Xbox exclusive over the last 3 years.
I can't wait till Scorpio is out. It wouldn't be a wise move for the industry long-term if they start allowing crossplay for Sony and MS. (Switch being the exception since most buy Nintendo products for their absolute exclusives and unique hardware designs).

I could care less if one fanbase is begging to play with the PS fanbase. If you want to play with Playstation players, get a PS4.
So let's say cross platform gaming becomes a thing forever. What is going to be interesting next gen is that most people have been buying their games digitally for PS4. So people will have less of a want to get an Xbox if most of their games are with PlayStation and with Sony having the most exclusives it adds less of a reason to get an Xbox...

I guess if you’re coming out of the dark ages of 720p or 900p dynamic gaming (which has been as recent as this year for Xbox) you’d say something like this. I would say the title needs “racing game on Xbox” inserted into it to be a legitimate title.
