I've now played through Crysis 2 on 360 5 times, and I've seen every kind of lighting effect there is. You do indeed cast a shadow from light sources....including the Sun. What the fantrolls above...most of whom haven't bothered to play the game on ANY platform...are too ignorant to realize is that you can manipulate light sources within the game, making this very easy to fake for the purpose of these bogus screenshots. There are tube lights on vertical stands and blue handh...
Out of this World and Flashback both need HD remakes and XBLA/PSN releases.

I think you meant "it's a game you'll HAVE TO play for years". Given how long it took PD to finish GT5...and it STILL lacked polish...don't expect another one this gen.
That's what's so funny about this sales comparison: GT was a highly anticipated game since this gen started....and was waaaaay overdue. Based on prior GT game sales, this isn't impressive at all; it SHOULD have sold that much DAY ONE.

For starters, Crysis 2 looks very good...and pretty much the same...on all 3 platforms. Crysis 1 didn't even look that good on all PCs, (a "single" platform) depending on your OS, GPU, RAM, etc.
CryEngine 3 is simply a multiplatform solution...it's not an evolution or generational jump in technology. To compare it to a mod...which, by the way, ALSO won't run on all PCs (it won't run WELL on MOST PCs, in fact)...is beyond retarded.
How the hell is it "overhyped"?? I think anyone with half a brain knew it was going to be a flop, the day it was announced. It's been completely off the radar, ever since it was delayed...nobody gives a sh*t about it....so it's certainly not overhyped.

Fact is, they do buy games...just not so much the overhyped exclusives. PS3 fanboys like to go on and on about "all the games" they "have"...and how 360 gamers don't have any...and only play shooters. LOL...this just takes a big stinking dump all over their BS claims.
The real story is, 360 gamers have/buy more games...both exclusive AND multiplatform...and therefore have a much larger library from which to choose.
...but any 360 owner who buys this is a fool. After the way BioWare/EA crapped all over those who supported ME1 & 2 from the beginning, by giving the PS3 version of ME2 EVERYTHING for free...it's ridiculous to expect 360 owners to pay for this much-too-little-too-late content. Plain and simple: If you pre-ordered/bought ME2 (like I did), you've already got the proof in your account, so you should just be able to download for free, and enjoy (for a whole hour :o ).
Ubisoft's Your Shape FE has ZERO lag. In fact, that game would be impossible to play, if it had lag...especially some of the gym games.
And there it is....the one piece of info I needed to know.
Sorry, but the SD gameplay was it's biggest downfall....crappy camera, and very limited web-swinging. If they didn't change those things, this is a definite skip for me.
