...and it kinda sucked. It reminded me of Kingdom Under Fire, gameplay wise...but it was ugly, and boring. But to be fair, I typically don't like those types of games anyway. I much prefer an open, action-oriented RPG like Oblivion, Risen, Divinity II, etc.
...such a blatant ripoff of Assassin's Creed, lol. I guess it's a testament to how successful Ubi's new IP has been, when they've already got imitators/wannabes .
Portal was a very small game...under 2 GB...so it stands to reason the sequel wouldn't be a whole lot bigger. Even if they made it over 3 times bigger, at 6 GB there would have been no reason for an install. It's one of those games that will reuse so many graphical features (textures, level designs, etc), that it can be crammed into a very small disc space. I'm betting the 360 imprint (optional install size) will be sub- 5 GB
...low-class BS from Sony drones....Sucker Punch, AND the N4G usual suspects.
Seriously...will people never learn from making such pointless statements?
Kinda like Pachter and his "predictions"....kee p trying, and I suppose eventually they'll be right. :o
EDIT: @ Senden...
They don't even have to do that, if past years are any indicator. Everyone thought Sony would rule 2010 (just like previous years), because of Move (which got ignored), GOW3 (which got mediocre reviews, poor sales, and saw a pric...
...but that's not a good enough excuse for wasting bandwidth on reviews of old, crappy games. Since you're so new, your reviews/opinions are meaningless and irrelevant anyway, as you haven't built a rep yet. Starting out regurgitating old info, about old games that nobody cares about, isn't going to help you.
Write some original articles, review what's new, preview what's coming...you know, like a normal gaming site.
...is the map creator that was talked about so much, but was an unexplained no-show with the game. FarCry had one...even on consoles....as did Ubisoft's FarCry 2. Crysis had one. I don't know if the cityscape/buildings made it hard for them to allow for a proper toolset or what...but I want an explanation.
In fact, I felt the exact same way about The Dark Knight, ironically.... Avatar as well.
It's similar to the Call of Duty effect....sheeple will flock to whatever is hot and popular, time and time again. There's no rhyme or reason for those movies to have grossed the inane $$ they did...especially TDK and Avatar.
...Bizarre Creations, like Bungie and BioWare, left MS...they weren't forced out. Blaming MS for not offering/attempting to bail out a former employee...who left them under their own power...is retarded.
This is just typical Activision. If Bungie isn't careful and smart....which is now debatable, since they signed a contract with the devil...they'll end up just like IW, Bizarre, and others before them. Sure, they get you in the door with the whole "You&...
...gotta love it.
I've seen that in at least 20 different games in the past few years. It must have something to do with lag + collision issues in ragdoll physics or something. Whatever it is, it's funny....yet creepy...as hell. I remember playing COD4 MP...Domination, in Shipment...when the lag + the constant grenade spamming + successive airstrikes led to one massive physics glitch. There were dead bodies strewn all over the map, stretched between the shippi...
...is the collective "MEH" over this news.
1.) Everyone knows competition is a GOOD thing. Don't believe me? Look at the Madden franchise.
2.) 2K will now likely be content to give you yet another rehash...just like last year...only this time you'll get to play as Wilt Chamberlain, or maybe Dominique Wilkins, complete with in-game fist-pounding action. :o
...the Grand Central Station map in Crysis 2, just outdoors.
Too bad I haven't been able to sign-in and access my account for the last 4 MONTHS. The PR website tech support is the absolute worst I've ever seen. And nobody at GameStop gives a rat's ass (and I work for them).
We have an app for that. :o
Um...WHAT?
...that it's the exact same demo as before. If you want to check out the new content....and therefore, the "new" engine, graphics, etc....you have to wait for the game's release. I already have it pre-ordered from Amazon, for sub-$40, but I wanted to see how the new content looked/played compared to the original. Larian/Atlus lose major points for this, in my book.
...more like $120-$130, if they want to compete with the Nvidia GTXs. Everyone knows AMD cards tend to be poorly optimized, compared to most Nvidia cards, so they need to price their cards accordingly.
My gamerscore is just over 76,000 ...with about 55k of that coming in the last 3 years. I rarely "complete" achievements in my games, because so many have stupid MP achievements, or "Complete game on uberhardz mode 10 times" kind of BS. My biggest "achievements" are 100% on Oblivion (with all DLC), and near 100% on Fallout 3 (with all DLC) and Borderlands (with all DLC) Still, that's over 3500 points with just 3 games, so I can see how some people rack up...
" The game has been in development for a number of years now, by a small 80-man team at DONTNOD Entertainment, who are hiring for an Animator on an 'AAA next gen title for a great publisher'. The game was apparently meant to be revealed at GDC 2009. "
A team nearly TWICE the size of Remedy, yet it's STILL nowhere near completion, after "a number of years". Well this is a guaranteed flop then. ;)
...you're thinking of Move...or maybe the original EyeToy. :o
