It's really hard to imagine what next-gen gaming will look/be like. I suppose the biggest difference...for consoles...will be the native graphical fidelity will be cranked up several notches, to match current high-end PC capabilities. No more 720p...or less, no more 20-30 fps on most games, no more screen tearing, and no more inconsistent AA.

Nobody's buying PS3s for Killzone, dude...hell, most who already own PS3s didn't buy Killzone 2 or 3. GT...YES. GoW...DEFINITELY. But NOT Killzone. This article is about Halo...a flagship, system selling juggernaut. Killzone was a failure last gen, and somehow got a 2nd chance this gen, with better results. But it's in no way in the same league as a Halo or Gran Turismo.
Hell, I'd wager COD is a bigger system seller for Sony than ANY of their 1st par...
Pretty much anything worth watching on TV, is DVR'd by somebody, somewhere, and available on numerous torrent sites within days...if not hours. Between that, and Netflix, I hardly watch live TV anymore...and NEVER use Hulu, or similar sites.

I'm sick of devs using the 360 gamers as their guinea pigs, then re-releasing games on other platforms with better and/or more features FOR FREE. It all started way back with Alone in the Dark (which still sucked, even when it came to PS3), and has continued on with the recent ME2 release by BioWare. It's bullsh*t that the say it's on MS, whet...
...the fact that console/games ratio is still pathetic. A million seller on the Wii is not an accomplishment. Gears of War sold 5 million, when there were only about 14 million 360s sold...and at that time, RROD was prevalent. Now THAT was an achievement.
Most of the games on the Wii list SHOULD have sold MORE than they did, given the install base. That's why so many 3rd party devs have given up on the platform.
Lumping Remedy in with the "unsuccessful devs" bunch is beyond retarded, and borderline heresy.
Alan Wake, compared to Enslaved, was still a success, considering it was only available on a single platform, what a niche genre AND was a new IP. Just because it's sales didn't match the "hype" doesn't mean Remedy was "unsuccessful".

The problem is, Nintendo fell out of favor with a ton of multiplat devs and publishers, because the Wii software...outside of 1st party stuff...just didn't sell well. Especially when you consider the insanely huge hardware install base advantage the Wii has over over 360 and PS3, it's just pathetic how many Wii 3rd party exclusives failed miserably.

Not to mention, it's for a game that was released over 4 months ago, to a ton of bad reviews. If you didn't already know the game is garbage, then you aren't really a gamer anyway.
In other words, don't waste your time reading this review. In fact, I strongly suggest you simply leave this REVIEW to its grave. :o
...or even switch between the two on the fly. That's why I love Bethesda's games...they've pretty much always offered that. Sure, the TP view wasn't exactly pretty, but it helped you if you got stuck on something in the environment, or if you wanted to get a better view of your surroundings.
