Anyway, on topic, I think I like the lighting in Crysis 2 better, but from a visual standpoint, I like the look, feel, and art style of Killzone more.
I didn't stop at the beginning of Crysis 2, but I stopped just after gaining control on Killzone 3, and looked towards the sun. It's amazing how much power they're still squeezing out of the PS3, even though it is rather old. (Tech wise)
Everyone who reads this, do that in the KZ3 campagn, and tell ...
This is why I'm losing faith in game reviews and basing purchases off my own judgement.
As horrible as this game might seem to them, (which it isn't), it doesn't deserve a 5.whatever. It's a great, fun, and engaging game, and if these people are doing this just to get hits, they'll be getting that, but losing all credibility in the process.
I give the game a 9.34271. Calculated in awesome points to the thousandth, and yes, that random fig...
I've played to the part where you go to the island (Trying not to be spoilerish here.)
I have to say, Crysis 2 is hands down the best looking Multiplatform game I have ever played, the lighting and water effects are especially good. Visually, it's not on the same level as say... Uncharted 2 or Killzone 3, but it's not terribly far from it. It's understandable too, since the levels tend to be much larger. At it's best, it looks amazing, with the sun shining...
Crysis 2 is the best looking *multiplatform* game ever released. And it is only because of the engine that graphics like this are pushed out on 360. KZ3 still looks far better, because it was built for stronger hardware, and only said stronger hardware. I really love the gameplay and openness and colors of Crysis 2, that's why it's in my collection, I wouldn't keep it if I didn't have a blast playing it. Anyway..
A game built for one platform, will always look...
Picked it up around noon today, played abit of the campaign.
The graphics are the best ever in a MULTIPLATFORM RELEASE. Remember that, those words mean something. Even so, I really love the gameplay and the campaign being so long really adds value.
I personally still think Killzone 3 and Uncharted 2 both have better graphics, technically and visually. It is simply because they are on stronger hardware, and built only for that hardware.

... We all used to play games for fun. Not for graphics or online.
I remember just having a GBC and playing that whenever I got a chance. I was fine with it because it was fun. Nowadays we have comparisons and reviews and online and a bunch of other BS that was never needed.
What matters is the games and the entertainment they give you.
Not how many FPS they push on what console.
Not which one has better black levels.

Crysis 2 and KZ3 look almost on par, just with greatly differing art styles. I'm thinking of getting it, waiting on some more reviews, namely the GT review.
But are you sure that you don't mean PS3? The close-up on the soldiers clothes clearly shows the PS3 has a much more detailed Badge/clothing there, compared to the blurry version on the 360.
Double check and let me know, I respect your opinion either way.
I really, really love KZ3, but I think I might be adding Crysis 2 to my collection really soon, my reasons are simple actually:
1) Open-type/Choice gameplay: You choose which route you take in a mission, you could go over a hill and flank them, take the stealth route on the left, or go tank, and go straight up the middle. In Killzone 3 and 2, everything is scripted, everything.
2) Story: I have to openly admit that KZ3's story could have been much, much...
Reminds me of Metroid, I like it.

I will agree to that, but a PC that can run it at such settings would cost twice as much as a PS3 or dare I say, a 360.
I can accept that PC is more powerful than PS3, because it is. It is constantly upgradeable and mod-able, in ways console's are not. That does not change the fact that a game like Crysis (Which was famous for it's computer killing powers 5 years ago) is now working on a machine like the 360. Of course it will not be as amazing as if it was running o...
Ah, sorry, but damn, nice. It's Edge's fault for letting such a huge loophole go unoticed, and we are doing nothing legally wrong by using our codes over and over.
Ah, sorry, but damn, this is great.
Sony will hate Edge for leaving such a loophole open, but we are doing nothing wrong by using our codes to agree to their promotion.
I have no edge serial number code thing, the one that comes with the edge cream and all that.. How are you all getting them? could anyone share their serial number with me?
Games will come on 2gb and 4gb sticks, a new game storage medium. You will still be able to download games if you want however. Please fix the article accordingly.
@Meerkat
And everyone with a ps3 will be playing those plus many more.
Well, those who can afford all the great exclusives anyway.
Out of my PS3 exclusives, (and all my games total, if you're asking), I think Killzone 3 has better graphics than Uncharted 2. I think Uncharted 3 will be the game that shows what the PS3 is all about. The fans.
They will squeeze better graphics out of the system. (better than KZ3)
They will deepen their multiplayer, not only copy from others.
They will lengthen the Single-player.
They will balance the Multiplayer.
This is what Nau...
