There's the gameplay that takes place during the day. Where you look for information, answer questions, talk to other people, answer text messages, and other things before going to sleep and having the puzzle-causing nightmares.
You could set it to easy if you needed to.
You'd need something more like...
Lightning quick reflexes and thinking.
Or...
The ability to decide how to make a path upward in the least amount of time before the psychotic demon lady stabs you with a fork.
Trust me, it's too fast paced for you to need 'Patience'

Lately, I haven't been agreeing with Gametrailers and their reviews and awards and things. They seem to have changed as of late.
I'm going to stick with Destructoid, 1UP, and dare I say it, IGN for now.

For me, it's all of the above.
And even then, they give Catherine such a good score, it must really be amazing.
I really wouldn't mind if it does end up being GOTY. It honestly seems to be the only Innovative game to come out this year, and we need more innovation lately.

I never once said those are the only sites I trust.
1UP has never been bad in the past, and while IGN isn't the best, I usually use Gametrailers and Destructoid as well.

All I ended up pre-ordering was the regular edition.
But my EB Games is out of their pre-ordered stock. If I want to get this, i have to show up asap on the day it comes out, and see if they have any extra.

You mean, you're killing them before they could stealth kill you.
If the animation for a pull down ever starts on you, you're dead. There's no counter in the game for that. But, if you happen to press square first, then you kick him down before he has a chance.
Places like Destructoid, Siliconera, and Eurogamer; all known for using the full 1 - 10 rating system, all have given it 9 or higher.
If that doesn't show a great game, I don't know what will.
