Ultima Online, Everquest, Star Wars Galaxies, Asherons Call and plenty of others succeeded pay to play. I don't think this one will though. Hard to pay to play now with Guild Wars 2 out there.

PC exclusives are way better. Civilization alone will give you more playing time than ALL console exclusives combined. Add in games like Starcraft, warcraft, stalker, starbound, 7 days to die, etc etc etc and it's no contest. It'd take me days to list every PC exclusive if not months. PC games library goes back to the 70's.
What are these can't miss exclusives? A couple generic shooters and third person action games? I have 100 of those on my pc as it is. PC exclusives are far far away better.

If you want the best gaming experience and the best games then yes it is. Only reason not to game on PC is if you're on a tight budget and can't afford a decent rig.

As you can see the PC version is just fine. It actually uses the same Cloud as the Xbox One version. Sounds like the latter is the one that should be worried.

It's nothing like the great D2. Save your money. Too many core flaws that can never be fixed. One thing it taught me was to never pre order a game again.
With or without menus the game isn't good. Don't believe the hype. Save your money......

Personally I don't know why anyone would want to play Diablo 3. It's just a bad game regardless of platform.
