Uhh no, there are around 35 million different active accounts a month(a year ago) with over 12 million a day. The total users is way over 35 million and is way more than dota2 at this point.
Article has the numbers totally wrong. For example it has LoL at 5 million players hehe, when it has over 12 million different players daily. Not sure how these fake articles ever get approved....
So I guess it's not fair to compare ps4 games and xbox one games either in your mind since they also have different specs from each other? Life's not fair, it's something you're going to have to learn someday. If you're so insecure about not having the best graphics then buy a PC.

Your eyes are definitely blinded by your fanboyism if you don't see innovation on PC. Practically every genre of gaming was invented on pc. From rpgs, fps, rts, simulations, etc to more recently mobas, mmos, f2p, minecraft, indies, kickstarters. PC is also leading the way into 4k gaming and VR. That's innovation right there. What's the last genre of games that came from console? QTEs? Yeah thanks a lot......

I see the exact opposite. The pc has the best exclusives for me. I only see a few third person action games and generic fps "exclusives" on consoles. Nothing that really interest me since I've been playing both those overdone genres since the 90s. The lack of innovation on consoles is why I could never switch from pc. They just seem to rehash the same couple genres over and over and over and over......
You need to do better research because pc gaming sales are around $20 billion a year. Over twice as much than any console.

Yeah I can't disagree with you more on that one. I've seen all the footage and haven't seen a thing unique about it. It looks good don't get me wrong, but it's not doing anything other fps aren't also. It's pretty generic from a gameplay perspective.....
Really because from what I've seen it looks like a pretty standard shooter. Care to explain what makes it so different and stand out? How does it innovate and move the stagnant fps genre forward? I've watched all the videos of it and just seems pretty generic from a gameplay perspective. I know all the ps4 people will disagree with me, but it's an honest question......

Why does is make sense to group any console together? They are all separate machines and each should be counted on it's own. I was doing you console gamers a favor because if we do it system by system the money isn't even close between the 2. It's not like microsoft/sony/nintendo throw all there money in a big pot and split it evenly at the end. So try harder and make more sense yourself.

The numbers are all over google. PC gaming makes 20+ billion a year while the 360/ps3 make a little over 7 billion each a year. You guys can disagree with the facts all you want, but they're still facts :)
