What a terrible game series. I'm betting that the next one will be a Jeromy Corbyn supporter/ Nigel Farage hater simulator, kind of like how Watch Dogs 2 was a complete and total Bernie Sanders supporter simulator, and was situated in the perfect city for it. I'm calling it now before the official reveal.
Epic thinks they are running the show in the gaming industry, and it's gone to their head beyond belief. These guys need to be slapped down hard.
Good guy Phil, gotta love him!
I loved Super Mario 2, and I still own it. I remember it wasn't as popular as the first one or Super Mario 3, but I loved it!
"PS5 backwards compatibility spells bad news for the remaster as we know it"
Because why in the world would we ever want to stop buying the same games over and over again. Defending remasters in lieu of backwards compatibility is plain stupid in my opinion. Sometimes when a game is remastered, it loses its original charm.
With the Call of Duty 4 remaster, it felt like a different game to me. The lighting was different, and movement seemed a lit...
If next gen is to be a full on 4K generation, then I have trouble believing that the PS5 or the Xbox Two will cost only $499.00 USD. I'm predicting at least $599.00 USD, with the cheaper entry level options being the PS4 PRO and the Xbox One X, since they are capable of 4K, but on the lowest comparable PC settings.
The only graphics cards on the market that can do 4K properly, without majorly sacrificing graphics quality and Frames Per Second, are the RTX 2080, RTX 2080...
Funny post, I like that! Just one thing I should touch on, and that is your comment, regarding my comment, on the Xbox One S having a 4K Blu-Ray drive... When the PS2 came out, many people, including myself, bought it because it was also a DVD player. When the PS3 came out, many people also bought it because it had a Blu-Ray player, and yes, Xbox has taken over that tradition, and included a 4K Blu-Ray player in the One S. What's so bad about that? People will find any reason the can to s...
Well, what better companies to have collaborating against the likes of Google, Apple, Amazon, Facebook and whatever potential Chinese company that come along, than Microsoft and Sony, who, along with Nintendo, have developed the video game industry as we know it today. Xbox is also collaborating with Nintendo with the release of Minecraft, a Forza game and Xbox Live Achievements for Switch. The future of gaming might be much more interesting that we can currently conceive of it being with the...
This is the same nonsense that Destiny did, and nobody was happy about it. I think that if people want to play a raid with friends, then they should party up and problem solved. At least give lone players some options....sheesh.
There is nobody better in the gaming industry today. He's a great guy, and has done a lot to bring the Xbox brand back from the brink, after Don Mattrick completely imploded the Xbox division, before being shown the door less than 6 months after the Xbox One launched.
The things I personally like, which he has spearheaded:
- Xbox and Xbox 360 Backwards Compatibility
- Full integration between Xbox Live on Consoles, PC, Android and iOS, including Cross ...
It wouldn't be a big deal if the PS5 launches at $599.00, since they will probably maintain the PS4 Pro as an entry level option. Just like Xbox will probably make the Xbox One X the entry level system, while the Xbox Two will be the beast system. Just for a proper 4K graphics card, you're looking at roughly $680.00 USD (Radeon VII & RTX 2080). Even if you're just upgrading your GPU in your PC for a 4K display, $599.00 for a console by comparison is a steal.
They have nothing worthwhile to show. The company has been completely trashed under Andrew Wilson's leadership. He should be removed immediately, and either Vince Zampella should be named the new CEO, or they should try to bring bacl John Riccettiello.
This is an SJW site, pure and simple. Nothing good ever comes out of polygon.
Honestly, they're probably going to do the same thing as BO4, and make it a multiplayer only game anyway. So basically, my feeling is...who cares!
The problem today, has to do with publicly traded companies, who only produce video games. They must always beat their earnings from the previous year or previous quarter, otherwise their stock prices will go down the tubes. With companies like Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft, who also produce hardware and platform services, their studios are protected, since they are not singled out during earnings calls, because they are usually talking about the earnings of the entire company.
Well you're in better shape than I am at the moment. I'm currently running a GTX 780 3GB, and while it still does fairly well at 2560x1080 resolution, it's starting to show it's age. This became crystal clear when I started playing Ghost Recon Wildlands. I've been thinking about upgrading to a 3440 x 1440 monitor, and with games like Metro Exodus and Shadow of the Tomb Raider out, and with Cyberpunk 2077, Halo Infinite and Gears 5 coming out, among others, I want to make s...
I agree with that sentiment. I was actually kind of impressed with the reveal of Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, until I found out that they are turning it into a looter shooter, just like The Division. I bet they'll find a way to do the exact same thing with Splinter Cell. Sooner or later, they should consider removing the Tom Clancy name from all of these game series, because there isn't going to be much in the way of realism or tactical game play left in any of these games.
Are you serious? The Darkness 2, while being fairly descent, was only 5 hours long, and it was a completely linear experience. I was really disappointed with it. I'm currently playing through The Darkness (1) again right now on Xone, and after so many years, it's still a great game.
Hopefully noise was your reason for going with the RTX 2080, because there isn't much of a performance difference between the RTX 2080 and the 1080TI.
Well perhaps that might be the case if they get their sovereignty back. Also, after seeing the corruption of the police and the judicial system against Tommy Robinson, I think the people need to straighten out that mess also. In not too short of time, it may be hard to call the U.K. a first world country of this keeps up.
