4K isn't important for this console generation, but in 4-5 years from now that might change.
A lot of people love making problems out of good things. If this works, great. If it doesn't, you can still play the game.
"No one cares about reading "why I think this is wrong" articles."
You cared enough to read it, no?
"You know why? People have different opinions and don't care about articles that try to explain that they are right and you are wrong."
This article is, indeed, filed under "Opinion Piece." That's what that loudspeaker icon indicates.
When developers actually develop games specifically for the systems they've been crying for after so many years. So far, we're mostly getting cross gen titles and cheap definitive editions of games released less than two years ago.
The point of a BETA is to test a game and collect reports, statistics, and opinions...not simply playing it for personal enjoyment. Because of this, you should've expected that anything you invest in the game won't carry over to the final release version.
At least the games are not canceled.
He could've thought the same for the Vita. Either way, Xbox One articles almost always have no relationship with the Vita. You can't argue that Xbox One is struggling in almost every important department.
Probably $449.99 USD.
I can't wait to try this game out. This is what Xbox ONE needs.
@amiga-man
Yeah, bugs and glitches that make the game only work half as advertised, but hey no biggie. I won't buy the game anyway. There's no honor in laziness.
I knew it. What I said about the announcement of Tomb Raider DE on some other site that companies are going to flood the market with cheap ports of last gen games. This is indeed the future of gaming.
Between the majority of the PS4/Xbox ONE game catalog being multi gen titles, definitive editions, and sub par sequels of great franchises, this new generation is the laziest generation that ever graced gaming.
Graphics aside, this new generation is so far the laziest generation in video game history. Most games available on PS4 and Xbox One are cross gen with their predecessors and every single exclusive for both systems has been disappointing in terms of gameplay.
I have been playing PS3 way more than my PS4 this year, and most games coming out this year that I want to play are, ironically, exclusive for PS3.
Yeah, major shooter releases in the past were previously hyped as the next CoD. Most of them ended up only having sold a fraction.
What if you only play sports games (like my dad), does that make you "not a real gamer?" Then what does make you one?
Why even bother with the PS3? PS4 needs more exclusives that define the system, not cross gen titles. This new generation is having a terrible start being loaded with nothing but games you can play on last gen systems.
Well it is expensive as this service is powered by custom servers built with PS3 hardware. Last I checked each server contains 8 PS3 CPUs and GPUs on one motherboard. Cost of maintenance and the associated hardware failures would be, again, expensive. You'll also need many of these servers to hold a number of simultaneous users depending on demand. However this doesn't excuse this pricing structure at all and this service won't take off if nothing gets sorted out.
This is definitely new...
Sony needs to keep supporting the Vita for a few more years before they drop out the mobile gaming market...a little fan service and what not. Pulling the plug now would only hurt Sony further than they already have by admitting to support it less.
I've said this years ago on somewhere else that the Vita may be Sony's last handheld. Between the predecessor's poor software sales/high piracy rate, PSVita's poor hardware and software sales, a good percentage of ...
No.
Two years from now? Probably. I don't understand the need for one right now. The system is already slimmer than the original PS3 Slim.
They are not why I jumped onto the next gen. I am really expecting the market to get flooded with these and less new games/new IPs than the previous generation. This new generation has started off with a very lazy first year.
