First of all there is a difference between playing/progressing a story and being drip fed context as to the backstory of the world you are currently playing in. HUGE difference, and if you don't understand that then you are not the person to argue that it has a story.

A good way to tell if an article talking about Botw is fanboy drivel is if they say things like this "defining the awesome story-line" umm what? I don't understand why Pokemon games are treated like crap by Nintendo and GameFreak. It's a pokemon direct.... in other words, a direct all about pokemon, how much other pokemon related stuff could there be to pad out the direct? Look I don't like EA more then any of you, but blaming this all on EA is idiotic, they have been developing this game since 2012 and it's still a buggy mess with a small amount of content and you think EA is the only one at fault here? Cmon get a grip you guys.
I just don't understand why Sony has changed their stance on it, I mean it has no negative impact, with crossplay you could now play with friends who own other consoles, and games with small player bases would have better matchmaking, the only downside is losing ptential forced sales aka someone is forced to buy a PS4 because they want to play with their friends, but crossplay would negate that, I feel like that would be a such a small percentage though.
The writing was on the wall with this one, if you bought this game and are disappointed, honestly I feel no sympathy for you, I only feel bad that EA got some money off this, hopefully not too much, but I have a feeling it's Destiny 1 all over again, fooled a bunch of people and most regret it, but there will be a small hardcore fanbase that gets milked for every penny they're worth.

I don't get why people are hyped for this, honestly VR doesn't even look great on PSVR, you know, a much more powerful console with 1080p output. Now a severely downgraded console with a 720p display, sounds horrible, but I do really want to see what games Nintendo makes in VR, just release better hardware first.
