yeah uhhh.... gonna go ahead and call this fanboy drivel. No one can say those games look good with a straight face, indie games look better, and S&S are supposed to be AAA games that sell millions. They're laziness pure and simple.
Gotta say.. i'm impresesd that Eddie isn't blindly loving this like everything else Nintendo.. maybe he truly is growing. Either way this sounds horrible. The Switch is way too weak for something like this to even be decent. I bought the variety kit but I most certainly won't be buying this.

Agreed, over-hyping and over-showing games is the biggest downfall of this gen if you ask me. Sick of companies showing us literally everything in their game in trailers, they're making it so I have to literally avoid watching their trailers if I want there to be any surprise.
How is it not racist/sexist to see the race/gender of a character and instantly be tired of the character? He had no idea how the character was written (Which is what actually sets characters apart not race) and was already put off just because of their race/gender, that is literally racism/sexism, yet you simple minded fools defend it, seriously how are we going backwards in progress? Society is becoming so bigoted and ignorant its mind boggling.

Nintendo is dominating because they cater to a demographic that almost no one else touches. Where as Sony and Microsoft compete for the same demographic.
It's saying stuff like this is what makes me think they aren't going to be making consoles anymore, if their next console was their last I wouldn't be surprised.

Only thing I hate is the abysmal online, complete and utter joke. Still can't message my friends, voice chat with friends, or send game invites to friends in smash ultimate, there is literally no point to having a friend list. For a company that is all about playing together they always seem to neglect one of the most convenient ways to do so, to make it even more of a joke they now charge us for it. But oh they think that's okay because they drip feed us NES games... absolute joke. ...
People who keep saying it needs to evolve are fools, let the crap experiments stay in the let's go series, the reason these games are disappointing is because they are the ugliest 1st party switch game released so far. There's no reason for the visuals to be as bad as they are. I said it before i'll say it again Pokemon battle Revolution on the wii is just about on par with S&S.

They included mario kart tour and Dr. Mario World... but not FE:TH or Astral Chain?... gtfo. Everything else is hype though, I haven't played animal crossing since city folk, it will be nice to go back to it.
Uhm.. no? What? You can say positive stuff about Nitendo.. Odyssey is one of the best games i've ever played, so is Smash Bros Ultimate, two of my favorite games from this gen, if Ultimate isn't my absolute favorite. I love Nintendo, but that doesn't mean i'm going to sit here and pretend that S&S don't look like utter rubbish, as i've already said they are the worst looking first party games on the switch and all I see is a bunch of fanboys making excuses for them...
How is expecting it to look like breath of the wild a big expectation? Botw is a massive open world game, those visuals and beyond should be more than possible, as well as odyssey's visuals.

Dude you need to stop making excuses, Just pathetic. It is their worst looking first party game on the system. Botw looks way better and it's a massive open world game, there is no reason for the game to visually look this bad, compare it to Pokemon battle revolution on the Wii, it looks identical. There is no reason this game can't look as good as Odyssey or botw, period.
