I mean, the Switch is also the dream console I wanted as a kid, a home console experience on the go. That doesn't change the fact that this guy is a cuck and we shouldn't take him seriously.
Eddie you're a big Nintendo fanboy so you'll probably know the answer, does this mean there will now be built in party chat on the switch? I'm guessing no, not with your Switch friend list anyway, so I really don't care, Nintendo online is still absolute garbage.
wait... you're telling me I can support one of the best companies ever made and grind mindlessly for hours on end never getting the loot I want... in 4K?!?! WOW AMAZING
They told me not to buy it, why are they upset I listened? I can't win :'(
If I was ever a part of the decision making like this for a game, just to f*ck with them I would make every male character a trans lesbian woman (But they still just look like men) and vice versa for women.Oh and of course half of them would be black and a few asians sprinkled in there as well, BOOM i'll get endless articles talking about how great my game is even if it's steaming garbage.
@uth11 that's because it is exactly that, an empty gesture to check the ...
um, no. I wouldn't get it even if it was free.
Honestly it's like Sega doesn't want money, if they re released or remastered Sonic Heroes, or Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, or any othe the classic sonic games 1-3&K for Switch I would literally buy them all, but nope, they just don't care about making money at all, it's like they don't care that there are Sonic fans anymore. I would actually be interested in a Sonic RPG as well, but i'm sure i'm in the minority there, lol.
Honestly I think it looks pretty good... excited to try it out.
Titanfall should not be grouped with destiny and anthem, it's nothing like those grind fest games, what are you talking about?
100% agree, the mp felt way better in titanfall 2. Anyone saying otherwise is honestly wrong, it took titanfall one and improved it in literally every way. People saying the first one is better didn't actually play the second one. I'm also told the campaign was really good, but I never played it :p
Don't let the article fool you, I thought it was very impressive at first, until I saw the #1 guy being viewed streaming it was a paid partner for the game (He's a big Twitch streamer) and then most of the other top ones were as well. That #1 spot was paid for, it didn't just happen because the game is that good, although honestly to me it actually does look pretty good.
The second I saw Anthem on this list I knew it was a joke.
I don't think so, it says it's a good fit for Switch Online, which honestly only has me more confused, my prime candidates would be Smash, MarioKart, Mario Party, Splatoon, Mario tennis, and metroid if they added online MP. Maybe a new Battalion Wars? I loved the one on the Wii, or maybe even a Mario Strikers? or a Mario superstars? or maybe a new starfox with added multiplayer? Honestly i'm not sure what to think...
Here's what I want from the PS5 whether or not I get it though.. who knows.
1. Backwards compatibility
2. No mandatory installs on disc games, I buy discs to save on storage, not buy a disc and still eat up 30GB of storage anyway
3. Heavy focus on VR, I want some truly AAA VR games as well as a new VR controller with an analog stick, I simply cannot stand teleporting around.
4. 4K 60fps, yes I intentionally saved this one for #4. Already got a...
@TK-55
I agree with most of what you are saying, but in an open world single player game, a sandbox is not what i'm looking for, I want a story to give me incentive to keep going, this doesn't exist in Botw, yet I keep seeing people relentlessly saying botw has a good/great story. I had already decided not to finish the game but I kept seeing people insisting the story was good, so I went back to finish it. The story was non existent.
While I agre...
I played the entire game, got all memories, completed all shrines except for like 7 stragglers. There is little to no story, it has the illusion of a story more then anything else. The stories only add some context as to the current area you are playing in, the entire time you play no story progresses, you simply learn more about the events that led up to where you are in a random order, that's not you playing a story, that's you unlocking a back story, there is a huge difference. If ...
There is an art to storytelling that I feel like most people take for granted. Throwing a bunch of segmented bits of story in an open world just doesn't cut it for me, but who knows maybe it won't be like breath of the wild, maybe there will be more tying it all together giving it some sort of structure and order. Hopefully anyway. I still think the MP is where this game will truly shine though.
Didn't like this design in Botw, probably won't like it here either. I just prefer structure and planning in a story, to make it congruent. Build up, anticipation, peaks and valleys, all of this doesn't flow naturally which is why we have (for the most part) composed stories. Botw lacked all of this and ended up being a storyless sandbox that tried giving you the illusion of a story through the scattered memories. Maybe crackdown will do it better, it's going to be my first Cr...
Bioshock Infinite came out in this decade, i'm gonna go ahead and call BS right now.
It says Metroid Prime 4 is coming out december this year, uh no.
