My brain can't even handle how amazing a next-gen Uncharted game would be. Naughty Dog said they'll continue making them if fans want them and they can push the envelope with the series. I really don't see a scenario where we don't get Uncharted 4 in 2014/2015.
That game's battle system was FUCKED. Way too complicated for its own good.
It's criminal how overlooked Nier is.
AC needs to do a lot - and I mean A LOT - to get me interested again. Connor was one of the worst characters this gen and ACIII was one of the worst games this gen. Most disappointing sequel for me.
Tifa is far and away my favorite. She is a strong-willed, kick-ass chick and just so happens to be sexy as hell. What more could you ask for? Cloud would be nothing without her.
The one on Destructoid is the actual controller.
This IS the controller, folks. I have a friend in the industry who confirmed it.
Cloud & Tifa hands down.
Beyond Beyond reminded me of Beyond The Beyond. Oh, the horror...
The only flaw it has is that it isn't in my PS3 right now.
40? This isn't Sly Cooper: Colonial Marines.
Just could not get into New Vegas. And it wasn't because it was just more Fallout. Nothing about it interested me at all. I HATED the setting, characters, quests, etc.
Fallout 4 needs to happen next-gen. Fallout 3 is top 5 this gen for me.
Whether it's horror or not should not affect the overall quality of the game or the score.
Did you just join the internet today?
They need to focus less on, "Holy shit this will be the best-looking game ever made" and more on actually making a good fucking game. Crysis 1 was brilliant, but the franchise is utter shit at this point. Just a graphics display. And it doesn't even look that good on PS3! Crysis 1 on PS3 looked better to me.
Nope. It'll allow for developers to make better engines. It's all about lifelike AI, better level design, more fluid animations, etc.
Gearbox is just not a good developer. Borderlands 1 was mediocre at best (enjoyable once, not much better in co-op in my opinion). Not even gonna bother with BL2. It's literally all sidequests. I have no faith in them to make a good game.
I don't even want to hear ANYTHING about game length justifying a purchase. Mirror's Edge is my favorite game this gen - a game that is around 4 hours long - but I've played it through 20 times because I LOVED it. To me, that is much more rewarding than a 20-50 hour campaign I'm only gonna play once.
Open world games dissolve into side-quest galore and you lose track of the story almost completely. Such as why I hated RDR and couldn't be bothered to finish Far Cry 3.
They're working on Fallout 4. That's as guaranteed as me typing this.
