What the hell is Paste?
At this point, the right move for Bethesda to do is to offer all current and future Skyrim DLC FREE for PS3 users. Of course, they won't, but many people will buy the DLC if it comes to PS3.
There are many games that are better, but no game sells more than CoD. The main reason many people, myself included, play it is because it is just pure fun and almost everyone you know will play it so you have friends to play with.
When it comes to THAT type of itch, CoD scratches it perfectly.
Far Cry 3 will be game of the year.
I think I played two or three games this year that really impressed me.
Tales of Graces f (My GOTY so far)
The Walking Dead
Resident Evil 6 (Not amazing but very fun minus the QTEs)
Pid (One of the best downloadable games I've played
When half of that list is downloadable-only, something is wrong.
Without going into detail, here's my ideas:
1. South America (Mayans)
2. Feudal Japan
3. The Deep Past where you play as a First Civilization member
4. The 1600s during the Salem Witch Trials
5. The Holocaust
6. The Cold War
Clunky combat, stealth that doesn't work, a weapon and ability wheel that takes you out of the flow of combat, the painfully slow prologue, the disappointing ending for Desmond. All that spells a game that is easily my disappointment of the year. AC needs to go back to square one and not release a game for at least 3-4 years.
Once you accept that everything before RE4 was SURVIVAL horror and everything after RE4 was ACTION then you can appreciate each side of it for what they offer.
The game just begins excruciatingly slow. You won't even play as Connor for about the first 4-5 hours.
One of my top 10 games of all time and easily my favorite Resident Evil title. I replay it every year.
Cliffy B is smart enough to know that every franchise he wants to fix (realistically speaking or not) would not benefit from his Gears of War-style of development.
In 2006, the game took me 55 hours to beat. If you are going for the trophies, expect to spend up to 75 hours on it.
Cut your losses and get cracking on Mirror's Edge 2 already!
It has to be a new engine. I mean, they can't go with the same engine for the 5th game in a row. Even IW knows that. I hope.
Of course it exists, but they aren't gonna try to take any of the shine away from Black Ops II since it's so close to release. They'll announce MW4 in February/March.

When you're the best game ever made, you're bound to receive a lot of hate for that reason alone.

If someone is that concerned with comparisons, get a copy for each system and put them on TVs side-by-side and scrutinize every frame. While you do that, I'll enjoy Dishonored. :)
I give it a 3. Game is very boring, story sucks, Connor is uninteresting, gameplay is glitchy, combat sucks, etc.
