Shit games get praised all the time doesn't mean they're not shit.
My personal preference from nostalgia and maybe specific time I played it was uncharted 1 and uncharted 2. 3 downhill and 4 was like....wtf happened. It's well done but story wise and what is in the actual game really let me down. I was really looking forward to seeing what kind of supernatural element they put in the game this time around ...for a second I thought undead pirates but ...all I got...
All the responses speak volumes on everything wrong with today's societal approach to dialogue.
Wow...so in other words...it was a mistake.
Modern triple A games aren't actually triple A. Triple A means high quality. They for some reason placed high budget as one of the things that define triple A and that is just not the case.
Hades for example is an example of a high quality game...triple A. Starfield on the other hand is like a AA low quality title.
Curious ..why?
I've never understood hype for a complete unknown.
Forced means that in the concept development stage someone said...we have to have a black/female/masculine etc protagonist or character. Or we have to have a bi or trans side character etc.
Developing characters based on identity, race or sexual orientation is shallow and stupid. And as we can easily see...any and all characters developed that way are pretty poorly written mainly because writing was second to inclusivity.
By itself none of those things a...
Not to mention online gaming should be free on console ...so not one part of this subscription is free. It is entirely added cost.
Just journalists continuing to dig themselves a hole. They become more and more irrelevant with every nonsensical review. But they're making it easy for me to ignore future titles from the same devs living in a bubble of fake praise.
Older and better titles are not as on sale as this new "masterpiece"
Well ..when you gotta defend your own score in the review so blatantly then you know something's up.
It'll always be about the games....with mid refreshes and that crap it makes it even more so about the games
This is why they're pushing to be more of a platform instead of a console.
Their console business has failed so they're trying to succeed elsewhere.
Dubs....yeah...now I really can't take you seriously.
Being critical of something does not equal hater. What bullshit is this? That said. I'm happy a platformer wins the award in this day and age.
I'll add that acting like children online is also not equal to hater. It's a maturity problem and an online issue.
Huh?
Actually that's not true but you're entitled to your opinion of course.
For example uncharted 3 was not more critically acclaimed than uncharted 2 and really neither was uncharted 4.
And we all know tlou1 was universally praised while the second was not. The reasons are irrelevant. Pretty sure it didn't sell as well as the 1st either.
So if you read the books the main character is really Ciri. The witcher is the title since it revolves around the witchers a lot. What did you want them to call it? Ciri?
That said. I agree that they didn't even need to come back to this IP
Me too...at least in the sense that perhaps theyll have the same spirit as the older witcher games...truly glorious titles.
