picked up the ps3 version. if this is running at 720p on the ps3 i will eat my shorts. hate to say it but ps3 version looks like ass. after playing games like gow3 uncharted 2 and hr this looks just plan bad. did not like the way gta looked on the ps3 and this is gta all over again. game gives me a headache playing it. to blurry with pop in all over the place.
but hey the 360 version could be the same for all i know.only have the ps3 version
you know, i can't understand why the yakuza series is not a hit in the US. yakuza 3 is fantastic and the original japanese soundtrack with sub titles gives the game a great sense of realism and btw the game is a blast to play with tons of things to do and explore.
3d dot game hero.one of the reasons why i like ps3. one minute i'm playing gow3,then a game like heavy rain, or mag and a lbp. diverse library of games.
to above: yakuza 3 is the best keep secret in gaming. i have put in between 15-20hrs and just checked completion, its at 6%. mostly because i spend hrs running around beating up street punks. and helping out people on the streets
yep more sub hd goodness. listen i could care less about the game and whatever resolution it is until a bunch of fans started with best thing since sliced bread. all i see is sub hd blurry graphics
did i just read a article that said multi plat engines don't do the xbox 360 justice. HA. well i guess exclusive engines do the 360 even worse. 5 years to develop and this is what ms comes up with. wtf

yakuza 3 is surprisingly good. there is so much to do that u could spend weeks(months?) finishing the game. and beating up street gangs never gets old. hoping for a yakuza 4 us release

btw i know yakuza 3 has already been released but this game has so much to do, its going to take all spring to finish(lol). every time i try to advance the story i get sidetracked on some quest and another couple of hours go bye. what a time sink this game is....
price just need to be at 199. w/ 3000 at 149. and sales will take off. 249. heck a new ps3 slim is only 50 bucks more

actually no one in the US will be able to use this with out lag unless u have t1 speeds. not sure if regular cable/dsl will be fast enough.

you know, for being one of the biggest electronic manufacturers in the world this makes no sense. Sony should have been planning for feb/mar 6 months ago. they know 12 months ahead of time what their release schedule will be. they have the games but now no hardware to back it up? wtf

not real excited about this. 3d and arc support can only mean a downgrade in graphics, and how in the h#ll do you demo and release trailers for 3d games.
maybe they are showing at gdc more as a tech demo for other developers if not then it should be unveiled at e3.
i still don't think you guys really understand what ssm and kratos are about to unleash among the gaming world in 2 weeks. forget about all the other great Sony exclusives. this is the game that will define the ps3. for the next 3 months ps3 are going to be hard to find. even the Sony haters will have to give props to kratos for going out in style.
p.s. there is a reason gt5 is being held back and that reason is KRATOS with the extra time pd has for gt5 development it will be a unb...
