I rented it and thought the SP was alot of fun. I Love FPS and have always loved environmental kills in them, so this game is cool to me. Im going to try and finish it on the hardest mode before returning it. I also got aq gears beta code with my rental so imm happy about that.

well I saw alot of ads for meat boy on live. I liked the demo but it was alot like N+ that I got a while ago so I didnt buy it.
400K total sales is pretty good but it costs 15$ on live(not sure about steam price) and I think thats too much for that game.

I have rented a few that I never finished tho. the most recent would be darksiders and dragon age.
I got kinda bored of darksiders and didnt have time to finish it. Dragon age just had a horrible framerate despite how bad it looked. I figured if I ever play DA I would have to get the pc version.
halo reach has a map maker and you can even create maps with other people at the same time.
I remember the original timesplitters on ps2 also had a map maker.

I rented the epic edition of BS and I got a online pass/beta code with it. That code does get 25K points and a special leash color for BS multiplayer, not sure if thats the type of items your talking about.
I really enjoyed BS, I thought it took around 8-10 hours for me to finish, not sure tho.
