are you possibly thinking of the sega saturn? Dreamcast was awesome, its only problem was that it didn't last too long.
even though its not, I consider the dreamcast to be part of the ps1/n64 gen because thats when I played it most. I had it in 99 and the grafix sure as shit did NOT "suck."
Try playing THPS 2, soul reaver, and hydro thunder on DC and then go play the ps1 or n64 versions. Games like shenmu, Soul calibur, DOA 2, SA, jet set radio and many others had great grafix for their time.
Ipad/phone is a phone/internet thing that plays cheap ass games, nintendo 3DS plays bigger budget games and has buttons in addition to touchscreen.
Try selling a big budget $30-$40 dollar game on an iphone/pad.....shit isnt gonna be bought.

I also think the 3DS will sell far more than 3.9 million by the end of this year. kinnect only costed 150, or 100 with an xbox bundle. I think the NGP could sell more than that by the end of the year, but I also think 3DS will sell way more than 3.9 million by the end of the year.
They say that the DS sold 14.5 million in its first year. I know the 3DS is more expensive, but its not that much more expensive is it???

It isnt a direct sequel but it seems pretty similar. I dont know how you can Judge it as too easy when you havent played it. Demon's souls wasnt even that hard once you understood what was going on, I beat it without even going online my first time. Also I had a ring that regenerated life in DS and all you had to do was stand still for a min. and you would be fully healed.
It may be different, but one of the developers said that they wanted it to be harder. It may not...
Ive been waiting for them to announce SC2. I figured they would have by now but im expecting them to make it soon.
Ill buy that day 1 for sure, I love all types of Side scrollers(if thats what they call them still), and SC is an amazing game especially since its only $15.
crysis is really fun online I think. I like the individual weapon/armor customization, and the armor abilities that are always available and level up too.
But halo also has more players allowed, more game types, a map creator, spliscreen(online too) and vehicles.
I like both for different reasons. I havent finished the SP in crysis 2 yet but it seems pretty cool so far.
RE 2 is my favorite. You can play it 4 times, alternating with each character, and see more and more of the story. It really ends on the train and you fight the giant spiky blob thing. Nemisis in RE3 is a rip off of MR. X in re 2, who chases you around the mansion the second time you play as a character.
RE2 is my favorite and HD would be sweet. Who knows how that would work with those pre rendered backgrounds tho. I would play it now but I only have the Clare disk, lo...

That would be funny because maybe people here would shut up with the xbox vs ps and hate apple. Nintendo dominating both in sales couldn't do it, apple entering the console gaming industry might.

amazon has been giving alot of credit lately.
I never used to buy games online but now I do sometimes from amazon to get the credit, and also to pay no tax and get free release day shipping with amazon student.

I guess some games might load textures or something faster off the HD then the DVD but that probably depends on the game.
If you do the full install on 360 then you can expect to have fairly shorter loads than when off the DVD.
Most people know that the ps3 sometimes does required partial installs, while the 360 has optional FULL GAME installs for every game.
The full game installs are larger than the partial installs obviously.

I just found out that im pretty good at crysis 2 miltiplayr. I will try this, Im interested in the open world sp kinda.
you get to feed him a tank and blow off his head by shooting it, like in JAWS. Thats pretty sweet.
I never played RE 4 but I prefer the older RE games to the RE 4/5 style games.
