I bet the games will still cost more. £50-£60 and will stay there. Look at Wii U..the games are basically the same port yet cost more. Excuses will be made particularly from EA and Activision.
I predict EA will require a Code once the game is booted, then a code to play the campaign, then an online multiplayer code to play just online. Then another code to get access to special features. This also does not include DLC's and other on disc unlocks.
Also i forgotten to mention the LAG. Yes, there still lag on XBOX Live but nothing compared to PSN. PSN doesn't have a unified system like XBOX Live and off topic for a sec, Multiplatform online games frames drop like mad but that's due to devs who can't use the ridiculously hard cell processor. Next gen that shouldn't be an issue.

@cgoodno last time i checked, Mass Effect was 90% shooter with RPG element only for storyline options. This is tolerable. Fable is dead and final fantasy is also a dead franchise. There's one or more every year and no one cares.

Isn't darksiders an RPG sword fighting game? We live in the age of shooters. Why the hell would a company like Sony or Crytek want to own a RPG IP, let alone create one.
Console Gamers usually play shooters, thats the truth. These games usually do not sell well on consoles. Only 2 or 3 three have succeeded reasonably but RPG are games that can never compete against shooters on console.
