Wii sold 91 million, Xbox 360 sold 76 million, PS3 sold 70 million. 7 years in the life of PS3 is still last this gen. Last Gen 5 years of PS2 life cycle they were on 100 million. They have gone from 1st to last place. From dominant to the dominated.

PS Plus gives u many months or years OLD games, to play for free for entire month but to be honest, most people like me see no point.

Allot of people i have spoken to who choose PS3 over 360 is that its free online. They don't like the fact that PSN doesn't have cross game party chat ect but the fact its FREE makes PS3 a whole lot better and appealing to them. If ur a person who play one or two games online, u prob wont see no value paying ...
If $ony start putting price on Playing Online then it already lost. The biggest thing PS3 had advantage was to be able to play online for free.
Xbox live was technically superior in every way imaginable and u really did get what u pay for. If $ony started charging for playing online, they will lose. PS4 could be the last $ony hardware they ever make. Lets just hope that this is just a rumor and nothing more but these rumors usually do come true.
Again PC argument about graphics. The game was all about graphics but the game isn't very good as its hyped upto be.
If u planning to buy a high end graphics card, u might aswell save up for PS4 and Next Xbox which will basicaly be same price of a single high end GPU.(GTX680/Titan/7990)
Next gen console will make 1080p and 60fps standard. Any higher wont matter for most average consumer as most HDTV can do 1080p and 60fps Max.

I rather spend on that amount of money on PS4 & Next Xbox. Consoles gurantee to have better optimisation. Games like GTA, CoD and MGS come out first on consoles and releases months later on PC if ever. Console u get more for ur money.

The downside of the 360 controller is the nasty DPAD. Even though DPAD rarely gets used these days but its essential for fighting games. The L2 and R2 on PS3 is also nasty. What an awefull design. I hope they make it like the 360/wii u trigger button.

CoD is a TDM oriented game where action is in ur face all the time.
BF is a game for people who like less action and more Territory based huge map game.

RPG is almost a dead and unwanted platform for console gaming. Sure there are 2 or 3 that have done reasonably well, but lets be honest. Take for example Mass effect, an RPG but a shooter at the core. This is the only way RPG should be heading. A shooter at the core with RPG elements instead of nasty WaW sort of anti social gaming.
