Yeah you're right about the PSP already doing space to ground but it was with Elite Squadron. Interestingly the leaked footage for Battlefront 3 shown the clones X1 and X2 which was the main story in Elite, so in essence Battlefront 3 did sort of see the light of day on PSP. Although as you've said portable limitations meant that space to ground wasn't seamless but segmented as there was a brief loading screen when changing between the two. Think that's just a small section of the trailer with a photoshopped minimap and ammo counter (notice the ammo doesn't go down as the rebel fires his rifle).

They really like the AT-ATs being everywhere, hope it can smash down trees otherwise would be a nightmare to navigate lol
Also, since there is no space battles or proper SP (though the latter was merely wishful thinking as earlier entries didn't have one, the former is very disappointing) then I hope there's no shortage in game modes, weapons, items and maps.
Then again I've been waiting 10 years for this, so it's pretty much a must buy so lo...
Just the original trilogy is covered by the looks of it. Although there is a small bridge between episode 6 and 7 with the Battle of Jakku dlc
Remember the original Battlefront 3 was going to have seamless transition between space and ground combat? Yet now they're not even putting in space at all? Quite disappointed there :(
The first two battlefront games, heck even Renegade and Elite on PSP did not have "traditional" campaigns. So if anything they're keeping true to the franchise (although I would still prefer if they had made a full blown campaign). Still, sounds like bots are in which is always good (servers won't be up forever). Can't wait :D

I'm primarily a PS guy and I think its fine if Sony, MS or Nintendo acquire a third party exclusive, but only if they fund the actual development of the game. If it's just a bag of cash given to the dev telling them to simply not make versions on the rival consoles then within these cases it's complete BS.
It's going to look better than BF4 as it's current gen only, but there's no clarification as to whether the game will look that good on consoles. Smart money is on the PC version being shown.

I wonder if they'll include heroes in multiplayer as that'll cause serious balancing issues lol. Hopefully they'll at least have the heroes and villians mode from Battlefront 2 (it's balanced if everyone is playing one right?).

The stormtrooper is using his air filters as you can see by the tube connecting the mask to the O2 backpack, suggesting he is on a world with a toxic atmosphere like Raxus Prime or Sullust. Or that there are chemical weapons in the game such as gas bombs. Or both.
Not to mention the trooper is wearing a black pauldron (shoulder plate) which designates an enlisted rank, indicating other possible colours such as orange which designates squad leader. In turn this implies squads ...
