Software dictates how much can be reached of this power.
E.g. Ps4 hardware enables it a potential power of 10
However it's currently at, for sake of argument a 7. Improvements in software will mean it will achieve 10 over time.
With Xbox it's hardware enables it to achieve a 9. However it currently achieves a 6 but will eventually hit 9 due to optimisation.

Reputation system on the 360 was not exactly effective. Majority of people I came across either had full stars or one. Besides people will abuse it. I remember a group of people planning to all report this one guy to try and get him banned. Don't remember exactly why but I think it was some sort of falling out. Anyways the effort and resources should be focused elsewhere, like discounts for trophies ;D

Violent video games do have the potential to leave a child more desensitised to violence (e.g. Sees blood and is more likely to say "meh" rather then scream in terror). But so do violent films, TV shows, music etc. However, they do not make children more violent themselves. I wonder if there will be extensive customisation options such as changing the design and colour of different parts of your armour (personal and ships) or building your own lightsaber for the heroes and villains. Just hope EA don't microtransaction the sh*t out of it if they do...

To be honest I don't care what gender/race/blood type the protagonist is. As long as the experience created is both compelling and interesting then I'm all for it. Just don't make an FPS or Platformer with an old lady lol.
