Looks incredible! But for the life of me, can’t see next generation consoles running the game at this graphical fidelity.
The Forza Series of games already use this technology.
Here we go, again!
More fuel for console fanboys war. Pathetic.
Something similar to Shadow of the Colossus or Ico would definitely make very happy. Indeed, anything from Sony Japan Studio it's a insta-interest from me.
Not trying to disregard the other Sony western centric studios working on PS5 games, but if you want something really "out there" it will likely come from Japan.
Only played the first game in the series, and still remember how impressed I was by the graphics on the X360. A shame the sequels didn’t keep the semi- realistic setting and be an alternative for GTA fans.
Good to see the developer trying to push for 60fps on the 1X.
I'm definitely buying the XSX and having options it is always a big plus in my book.
Some people don't prefer options and that is absolutely fine, fallacy is when they are trying to pretend that having options is a bad thing.
Microsoft has made in the las few years moves, that position the Xbox as a consumer friendly platform, and they had to.
After disastrously botching the launch of the XOne, the only way to stay relevant was to try and adopt measures like BC (albeit partial, but with fantastic work done see RDR and more on X1X), GP Ultimate, Engagement with the fan base(less arrogance), now Cross-Gen support etc.
Sony did absolutely great this gen, to the point of humbling Xbox an...
You can see we are close to a next gen console release, just by reading the comments section.
It's all here:
-Blind fanboys (check)
- Hypocrisy of the highest order (check)
- Complete lack of objective comprehension (check)
- Inexplicable hatred towards a piece of plastic or product (check)
Yep this is the year folks, next gen is coming. D
You wrote a useless wall of text, and while doing so, proved that you haven't got a clue about the subject matter.
Congratulations.
Microsoft has engineered a very powerful console for next generation, anyone capable of objective views can see, read and research it, it's no secret.
The XSX is more powerful than the PS5, it's just a fact. I don't see the reason why some people freak out over this.
“A lot of this fake anger is coming from Xbox side who weren't buying the game to begin with because to buy a PS4 title you have to own the hardware. Can't be putting those pa4 games in your super powerful Xbox x haha”
Holy s**t man!
You sound (come across) like Donald Trump, and that is nothing to be proud of.
If you wanted troll, be ignorant and insult people who prefer Xbox to PlayStation, then, mission accomplished. But in the proces...
I’m not trying to take away anything from how well designed the PS5 is, or how developer friendly Micah Jones finds the console.
But with headlines like this one, one has to wander what he thinks about XBsX. Does he think MS has designed a console with bricklayers in mind? 😀
“I highly doubt anyone on XB1 would care for this title“
I sincerely hope you’re wrong. These are the kind games(niche),that would give a much needed boost to the variety of games on the Xbox platform.
Definitely looking forward to what MS will show, a glimpse at games running on next gen hardware is always welcome in my book, even if these are third party and cross-gen.
MS are much more pro-active than Sony about next gen thus far (albeit they have to be), and for me that’s very promising.
Very pleased this is reviewing well. I just wish Sega will release it on Xbox as well, although it more like wishful thinking on my part unfortunately :(.
Whilst this is interesting, I'm much more interested in RT and how well will the PS5 be able to delivered on that front.
Even in graphically pedestrian games like Minecraft, RT can be transformative . Not to mention other GPU intensive graphical advancements that will come with next gen.
This looks absolutely incredible!! Hopefully MS can find use for the technology in other of its numerous IP/projects.
Like other posters pointed out, they have zero knowledge about the game, except the fact that it will release on PC. In line with the MS's first party strategy.
I personally don't think it's an exaggeration to say that XboxOne , will, probably match half the sales of the X360.
Anything beyond that number, should be seen as an over-achievement. Then again, the OGXbox sold just over 20milion, so if MS is using that kind of metric against XboxOne, then it seems they are doing fine.
There will be plenty of games that will show the power XSX on GP, is just that this particular game is not it. I’m certain Halo Infinite, Hellblade II and other projects from PlayGround an The Initiative will push XSX quite a bit.
