If Outriders would have launched day 1 on PSNow the discussion would have been about what a great deal this is ( which is true, except its MS who is offering the great deal here) and the game is good, can't wait to play it etc,etc.

That's a lot of games and with many releasing on Game Pass the potential for success is huge for this titles.

Yes it should, but clearly that's not always the case as seen in several DF comparisons.
For some unexplainable reason, MS went from having an incredibly easy console to develop for in Xbox360 to the unnecessarily complicated Xbox One and subsequently poor Xbox Series S|X SDK, that, is clearly hampering the Series X (for know).
We should never underestimate MS's ability to shoot itself in the foot though 🙂

If the PS5 could push the game at 4K60fps the developer would give you the option, but clearly it's not the case here. Hence why it's 1440p@60, the best compromise the developers could make.

I really don't see why Xbox gamers would be unhappy, as you implying in your post. It's not like they will struggle for games to play by the time this game gets released. And more to the point, it's just a timed exclusive for PlayStation.
It looks good, and by the time this gets released I should be a PS5 owner.
This is becoming increasingly embarrassing for the XSX and MS, and yes I own the console but hot damn, MS need to sort out their **** and provide better development tools for the devs.

This pretty much explains/addresses the next gen game price increase Sony is so eager to push. Regardless, by the time I buy the PS5 the games that interest me would likely be less than half of RRP.....so thanks but no thanks, for now Sony.

Look, I'm not looking to discredit or downplay any particular console. I just mentioned that Sony has shown some of it's games taking advantage of next gen hardware, and it's only fair that MS should do the same.
A great game is a great game, regardless if it is on Game Pass or PSNow. And the worth is relative and subjective. Does Returnal worth £70? We don't know, to some it will and to others it won't. What is so hard to comprehend...
