You really can't compare the two. One is a on-foot shooters game. cod you have to rely on your speed, vision, hearing and reaction time. BF, the name says it all, ITS A BATTLEFIELD. Full on war!

What the heck amn. I kept getting killed by pinpoint stikes. How do you do that? The screen tearing seems to have lessened. Could that be? Weird. I'm starting to come around and change my mind on this game. I played alot of BF2MC I gues it will be a buy now.
When the 360 is broken who cares if it might have a better GPU. Having disk read errors and loud,overheating console does not make you want to go out and drop 60 bucks on games for it. All multiplats will go to the ps3 unless my replacement 360 gives me confidence in it again. We will see.
My first XBOX almost burned my house down. Thanks to a sparking faulty connection for the power cord on the Xbox plug. All loose and can't be fixed. Smokes and smeels. Thanks Microsoft!
Oh yeah MS did send out a new cord but the issue was not the cord but the connector on the Xbox, FAIL
Mine became super loudn after one of the patches, started scratching all my new games dics due to that documented case of that internal metal part in the drive touching. Then the disk read errors started, now two rings and overheating after 10 min of play. I finally sent it in and hope to get a replacement. 12/05 build. My PS3 keeps humming along silently playing COD4, GTA, GTP and the new Battlefield demo without a hiccup.
I'm sure all you COD5 haters can't aim for shiet. KAR98 1 shot kills were real fun. BAR was total ownage. If you ever played COD3 I'm sure you used the machine guns like you do in COD4, just spray and prey NOOBS. Pacific theater battle! Bring it on. I wish there were big tank battles like the single player version of COD2. That would be cool online. I have a felling it's just going to be jeeps again.
I agree. I'm not paying 30.00 and up for BR. I will start buying @ 20.00 or less.
This will be a purchase for me. I played COD3 ALOT online. Now we get the CO4 engine, sweet. Can wait to cook some enemy out of thier bunker holes.
Unlock the m16. Demo is starting togrow on me. After all I played the hell out of modern combat. Vehicles and big maps will prb make it a buy. Now when I get my xbox back from repairs i wil try that demo too. PS3 version seems to have alot of screen tearing.
What a piece of garbage. The screen tearing or frame rate drops or whatever it is shows up sooo much its is annoying. I saw it in the development videos and hoped they would fix it but don't look like it will be. I like the draw distance and blowing up trees, walls and vehicles. They use left upper trigger for aim down sight which is a plus. C0D4 gun hits register much better.Compared to battle field 2 and gta the helicoper is a pain to fly.I think modern combat was much more smooth even thou...

Well I turned on my 360 for first time in weeks to play some MotoGP. (Ps3 and COD4 main option lately)
Within 20 minutes it shut down with 2 rings, overheating. Before I was getting constant disk read errors so I purchased the ps3 when COD4 came out. I called Xbox and am sending it in. Mine is a 12/05 build with extended warranty and louder than hell.

I loved cod3 and played it online everyday. You all must have just sucked at it. I look forward to more WWII action, with new weapons hopefully. BAR FTW!!!
GEOW looked good but I really don't like 3rd person shooters and the online sucked with host advantage/glitches and only 4 players. Halo3 I only played a couple hours and it just collects dust now. Prob one of the biggest regrets in a game purchase only topped by Kane and Lynch in the suck. Killzone 2 appears to have the same ADS as COD4 but with better graphics. I can't wait for it and am very excited.
I picked mine up last year when it was best in class. Now Sammy has the 1 million to 1 contrrast ratios on the newer sets. I luv my 4065. I see not blur or ghosting. Pioneer 720P has screen door, no likey. But the 5010 or 1080P Elites now they are the best (or were last year.

Other than not being able to get online until 10 pm pst my copy works fine. I have a Samsung 4065, 1080P. It looks alot sharper when not forcing 1080P and letting it auto dispay @ 720P. Also leave RGB on 'Full" as "limited" is way way too bright.
The 30 mins I did play online was fun. Competing to steal cars then doing a drive-by and wacking your competition is way too much fun.
