I just stopped buying games for it. Too much risk. If I love tap it by accident There goes another scratched disk and 60.00 bucks down the tube. I know there is a fix documented to prevent that piece of metal in there from touching the disks in the tray but that involves opening it up and voiding the warranty early. Once warranty expires I will research modding it. Till then PS3 get the love.
Maybe the controls are kind of like COD? I would pick up for like 20 bucks just for kicks once price goes down
May have to one day try again. But with COD WAW and SoCom, etc it's hard to give it love.

IMO, this game is better than SoCom, Gears 2, Resistance 2, MGS4, Battlefield BC, Halo 3, GTA4 and in some ways better than COD4 I know cause I own them all.
COD anything is better than the rest!
On a side note. I slapped in Castle Wolfenstein: Tides of war into my 360 and I still found someone else on the old X BOX Live playing. That was the best FPS in it's day.

This game rocks! Anyone who purchased and played it on launch day will attest. It feels like you can run faster in MP than in COD4. Bump the sensitivity up to high with Thompson setup and your a run and gunning machine. It's super fast. The maps are very fun and look really stunning. 4 player coop is so much fun. Gave me $35.00 for 360's COD4 when it was a new release. My 360 went for repairs and puchased a PS3 and COD4 for PS3 so did not need it.
Always has best deals on first day new releases for games. When GTP they gave you a T-shirt. With MGS4 the $20.00 official strategy guide, with COD4 a free copy of COD3 and a poster. Today they have 10.00 gift card with COD WAW. That's where I'll pick up my copy today just like the above. If your getting the 360 version Best buy gives you Enemy at the Gates on DVD with it. But PS3 version for me so I can play co-op with my bro that sold his 360.
Maybe they should have thought twice before bombing Pearl Harbor and "awakening the sleeping giant". And those two nukes actually saved millions of Japanese and American lives. An ivasion of Japan would have been oh so bloody.
COD got it perfect. It's the most intuitive setup I've ever used. L1 ADS and R1 fire. The rest of it I can adapt to. Just give me those two and I would be happy.
Please tell me the controller options allow the use of L1 for "aim down sight" PLEASE say it's not click down on analog stick or something else.

I hate that the new drive they installed still scratches my disks if I move the thing in any way while playing a game. I had it vertical and accidently kicked it cause it was on the floor and nudged it just a bit and it ruined my 2nd copy of COD3. Dis the same to the first copy. Makes me want to buy the PS3 version very time a multiplat comes out for that reason alone.
After 5 games I was my usual badass self and was getting 30-5 freeforall victories. So you don't have to be all leveled up to be good. BAR is nice for long range. Thompson is sick for anything close. M1 Grand seemed easier to pick up and be good with in COD3. Can't wait to unlock the KAR98 and the STG-44 with Iron ACOG. I hope the KAR98 is still a 1 shot upper body kill at close/med range. I was hoping for L1 to Aim down sight like COD and R1 to shoot. Anyone who played the beta? What button is used for this? When will they learn that this is the best setup for FPS's
I have both but my PSP has not been touched in over a year. What a waste of money. It's cool for kids but I never find time or a reason to use it. I phone is better for casual gaming, vids, pics, internet on the go.
