Mario Galaxy? It was good, but nothing innovative. It was like 64 but in space and the spherical worlds were done on Ratchet Up Your Arsenal. Seriously, Galaxy can be removed from that list. So can Fallout 3, the rest I could actually see on a top 10.
There were equally as good amounts of reviews that gave it an 8 or higher. People saw through the nitpicking b.s. and bought a good game.
The demo was pretty fun actually. I went into it not knowing what to expect and I have to say it seems pretty fun. Although I'm sure the demo does it no justice.
KZ3 will be awesome and a 1-2 punch by Sony with KZ3 and Resistance 3 in the same year. Woo!!
Take away the numbers.... Stop right there! Why take away the numbers? It's the numbers that add to the game and make it special. Some may call it a gimmick or say it doesn't make it better, but the feel of having so many people fighting is awesome. Sure if you take away the numbers it doesn't have that magic anymore, but you can't do that so why care?
It's like saying Grand Theft Auto is great, but take out being able to leave your car makes it a generic driving game...
I run a Sonic fansite and it doesn't matter if they redid Sonic 3 in HD, added new levels, and called it Sonic 4 they would never be happy. There will always be people who complain no matter what when it comes to Sonic, it doesn't matter if they made the most innovative and best game ever. "Oh the game is great but his feet don't make a wheel and it pisses me off so I'm going to rant all over the internet about it"...
I'm just saying who cares if IGN gave it a higher score and judging by the article people really aren't taking this seriously. It's fanboy drivel.
IGN is one site... Look at the front of Uncharted 2 at stores, in big letters it says "OVER 25 PERFECT REVIEWS".
No matter what Sega does, people will be disappointed. 2D game, disappointed because it's just the same old same old from the Genesis with new graphics. 3D, disappointed because it's not 2D. Damned if they do, damned if they don't.
Also Sonic 1 was great, but 2 and 3&Knuckles were better. Pretty much everyone thinks so. There were no complaints back in the day that the series was getting worse, everyone loved the new improvements to the games.
Aside from Unleashed, the main games of the series have been on PS3/360. Look at '06 and the other two for Wii were spinoffs. I wouldn't be too sure about that unless this is another "across all platforms" game.

Even Kotaku couldn't deny that this is a good game. I'm surprised they liked it, they're like the American version of Eurogamer and Edge.
Just no... You can't go saying a series that you played is more interesting than a game you haven't played. The reason Dark Cloud was more interesting to you is because you actually put the effort into playing it and if you haven't played either then you are fool.
Dude Warhawk and Socom were tiny in comparison to how big MAG is. The maps are huge, the file space is huge, the fact that it is online only does not reflect how much it should be priced.

I've had a few poor games though. I don't know why but two of the games were way too one sided. One my team was owning so hard there was nothing to do, another my team was losing and there was no stopping them.
I'm in Raven though and just got through with a round where we beat SVER. :) They're tough, but not unbeatable like everyone likes to spew around here...
Look at the loser fanboys swarming this page with their crap. Everyone sees right through it, you are only commenting on the reviews that are negative and pointing out how they are justified... Yet when a review that's 8.5 or higher, you don't put so much effort into it... I got the game yesterday. I wasn't going to initially, but after I discovered I had the money for it and seeing it getting good reviews I gave in. Glad I did too.
You're completely brainwashed. The graphics aren't poor(look at Socom, it had average graphics and still became the most popular online title last gen) and the sells aren't poor either. You do not need millions of sells in day one. You know what often happens with huge day 1 titles? They end up not selling near as well the next few months and eventually are forgotten.
Still a lot more fun than Hype Warfare 2. Oh, but I guess graphics and sells are the only thing that matters?
After all they did sell tons WW on December and over a million in the US alone. It most likely depleted most stores back stock. If you have a store with tons in your area, it most likely means they ordered more for their warehouse and had them in there.
