^ Yeah it would be like how Sony handled Resistance and Killzone. They had two shooters that were similar yet very different and just spaced them out. It worked fine for them.
Yeah but how is this exactly a problem with the story? It actually happens all the time! Look at Sonic Adventure 2: Shadow dies at the end... But he was known to be saved in future games. It didn't ruin the ending to SA2 at all. It was still dramatic and sad.
Yeah I don't know what I was thinking when I said that but a number more? I'm fairly sure there are only a few that achieve that not a lot more.
Yeah nothing spectacular overall though. They never were really praised by the critics except for Socom 2.
Not saying I didn't love them and I know the consumers gave them high praise, I got the first one when it came out and was a fan ever since. I think the PS2 ones sold fairly well, they were like the Call of Duty of its time.
Their games never were well received, even the PS2 Socoms never got huge praise but they were pioneers in online technology. They brought great online features early on in the PS2's life and made 256 players in one map work on PS3. They brought a lot of great innovation in that aspect which is why I respected them and am sad they are gone.
Well probably because a game that is for you being showed off first would not be for other people. Knack being showed off first shows that Sony isn't a one-trick pony and offers variety.
I'm sure Gran Turismo 7 will be able to pull off 4k. I mean it was the only PS2 game to pull off 1080i and only PS3 game to do 1080p and 60fps.
Any publicity is good publicity. haha well not ALWAYS true but it could get them more time in the news and more people aware.
However I doubt it will from the sounds of this commercial. Doesn't sound there will be mass hysteria over it.
I disagree. The character models are better, the hair is noticeably more detailed and if you look at the clouds the sky is more detailed as well. I also noticed that foliage looked better too.
Lol, let me educate you!
GT4 - Late 2004
Tourist Trophy - 2005
GT HD(idea scrapped in favor of GT5) - 2006
GT5 Prologue - 2007
GT PSP - 2009
GT5 - 2010
GT6 - 2013???
Plus any other unannounced plans they have. As you can see it wasn't 5 straight years of GT5 development!! They had other games and other ideas in between. Now go tell me development time was long after that...
Kneon - That's how I felt about Project Cars too when I learned it was only going to be a sim/arcade hybrid.
GT2000 was never released. It was delayed and they renamed it to GT3. GT HD was not an attempt at a full game, it was just a sneak peak of what to come but a full game was cancelled in favor of GT5 Prologue.
It was great for me, best GT yet.
Well... Just take a look at how much GT4 leaped over GT3. Bigger environments, people were actually 3D and had more than one animation, things in the horizon looked much more detailed. I'm sure even if it's on PS3 it would still be a huge improvement to it like GT4 was over GT3.
What a mountain out of a mole hill. Not concerned at all, why should you be? The complaints here are all "what ifs".
I think it's equal on both sides but it's good to make that decision for yourself. Too many sheeple now days only buy what is "popular" or what their friends buy. It's sad.
I think it's more 360 fans that are scared because of how MS has treated it for the last few years. They're scared their next box will be lacking like the 360 has lately. I think they'll keep their diehard fans but will they win hardcore gamers? Who knows.
I think it's fake because on the case's top right it spells out Playstation 3 and the game cases haven't had that writing on it since they switched over to the new PS3 boxart.
Um GT4 was a BIG update from GT3 in terms of content and graphics so I don't see why you would think that. GT4 had way better backgrounds and people were actually 3D whereas in GT3 they were flat and paper-like like the PS1 iterations. Not to mention it had a lot more modes and things to do.
It was using a GT Academy car that was used before the PS4 was even announced and was designed to promote Gran Turismo 5 and the PS3. Even if they would spend the money to repaint it I doubt they would considering they haven't made the announcement yet. You don't reveal details like that before an announcement, you do it at your big reveal.
