1) If a guy tells you there are plot holes in a game and doesn't elaborate, then he shouldn't even be talking.

2) If there are plot holes in a game, don't get all upset. Plot holes are common in even the most critically acclaimed films. So don't become upset. However, referring back to point one, if someone is trying to say that the game sucks because it has plot holes, then you can just tell him to shove off, because it turns out that a lot of very complex games will have p...

MS is weak. The only way they can show me that they are committed to being a good console gaming company is to buy first party studios. As of right now, they're satisfied with pay off third party studios for timed exclusives which makes MS a lot of money in the short run but decreases the value of the Xbox 360 in the long run because the console exclusives are either on PC at launch or they go to PS3 later on.

Sony shows me that they are committed. They still have most if not ...

Oh, they probably will for the PS3 version. They'll still charge you money to unlock it.

This is a man you have never met. Literally, you know nothing about him outside of the comments he makes to reporters. That is all you know of the man. Oh yeah, you've seen a couple of photos of him. He didn't say anything mean to you or your mother. He's not a douchebag. At least, none of us know him well enough to make that judgment.

Yes, quite bold. A bold claim from a bald man.

I think he's just talking up his hardware so more people buy Microsoft stock, because there is really no reason for him to disclose Microsoft's sales plan for anything else.

Telling someone to go to hell is a disrespectful thing to say, whether you believe in hell or not.

One might say, "Well, I don't believe in hell, so I'm not offended," but that's really not the point. They're dismissing you as a person when they tell you to go to hell. Isn't that demeaning enough?

Well, Janet Jackson isn't very hot in my opinion, so I would say that her wardrobe malfunction was the worst thing in the history of the superbowl. Although, the Beatles (just Paul) playing at halftime the next year was just as annoying.

What the hell is wrong with you?

Are you one of those guys on the other end up the spectrum? You know, you got guys who can't stop talking about how much they love Jesus, and then you got guys like yourself who can't go five minutes without bashing someone's religion.

I don't know which one is more annoying, but you can rest assured you're as despicable as they come.

Turn 10 said that they at least "showed up."

Forza is not as good as GT, but even a fanboy can admit that having a game is better than not having one.

And Turn 10 made their game in a timely manner. Of course, Forza 3 could have used a good deal of polishing, but it is a AAA title so far.

I can't believe Turn 10 was right. And to think, GT5 is going to be released almost one full year after its main competitor.

No wonder Turn 10 talked all that crap.

Why can't we live in a world where operating systems are released at ten year intervals?

Do I really want to have to start thinking about Windows 8 when I'm barely going to get a laptop with Windows 7?

With the ability to send software updates and service packs over an internet connection, we no longer should have to buy a new OS.

If that was the 360 version, then I am very impressed.

I used to criticize Crytek for not being able to optimize their code, which was why Crysis required beast PCs to run it.

But it looks like developing the game on consoles has forced Crytek to really work harder at refining the engine code.

I guess people who said Monster Hunter won't sell on a home console were very wrong, and now it makes sense why Microsoft wants the Monster Hunter franchise.

Actually, the game is a technical marvel.

128 players on screen with no lag was demonstrated in another thread, and thus, I must conclude that Zipper's netcoding is the most impressive I have seen.

I don't think there are many games that can handle that kind of player presence, even Battlefield 2 on PC has problems.

IGN must be judging this game from a different standpoint, probably just so they can find something negative about the game and lower the s...

I think basically calling me a hypocrite by falsely labeling me a hack n' slash gamer or an FPS lover is not the right way to respond to me.

I agree that FPS shooters are also mind-numbingly repetitive, which is why I'm more of an RPG guy. I am interested in games like Demon's Souls and Fallout 3, not for the moments of combat, which are in themselves repetitive, but for the times when I have to leverage my supplies or be stealthy in my actions, or by the conversational decision...

I'll never understand it. I guess I need to buy this "game" to figure out why people are so hyped up about gameplay mechanics that involve pressing a button to dry your hair, pressing a button to pay a clown money, pressing a button to drink orange juice, pressing a button to turn on a water faucet, etc. Story = great. But I will never understand how anyone can sit through hours of banal tasks to understand what is happening.

I live in Van Nuys, California. I went to a Best Buy the first day I got a PS3 to buy some games. While there, I saw a Sony Blue Tooth headset being market in the PS3 game area, and it cost $89.99

Disagree with me all you want. As if I care what a number at the corner of my comment means. I'm telling the truth, and that's all that matters to me.

If I knew where this was taking place I might just go with a bunch of picket signs and protest the cost of Microsoft's accessories.

$170 bucks for a 250GB harddrive is a bad joke.

The cost of developing a game only to have it not sell is higher than investing more money to develop a game on an HD console and have it sell.

Sorry, but initial costs of development are of no interest to me, nor are they of any interest to people who "invest" their money for profit. If you could have a higher degree of certainty that you were going to profit from your investment, then initial cost does not matter.

The Nintendo Wii is a money pit for smal...

Sony gives the consumer the option of either purchasing third party products that are compatible with PS3, or choosing Sony products that are compatible with PS3.

But rest assured, Sony also rips people off if they're buying the first party products. A Blu-ray headset from Sony specifically for the PS3 costs $90 bucks.

Obviously, Sony isn't forcing you to buy their product like Microsoft is, but Sony is probably counting on its fanboys to purchase its expensive pr...
