Turn 10 should be working on Forza 4 for the next Xbox by now.

If they want to compete with Polyphony Digital, then they will have to work on their game for 5 years.

I'm looking forward to KZ3 as much as anyone here, but melee attacks, jetpacks, space levels, jungle levels, snow levels, and 3D all exist in other shooters.

What will set KZ3 apart is the epic warzone feels which other games don't do. Other games like Halo or COD have small, frequently occurring skirmishes and shootouts. KZ3 enhances and increases the scale of battles to give it the battle feel that other shooters lack.

Since Kojima is not involved with Rising, it would be easier to get a progress report from someone else at Kojima Productions.

way to make a generalization there. You see one or two guys on N4G make a comment about wanting a PS3 exclusive, and you assume every 360 fan cares.

Well, fine. You keep you 60 fps. Compared to 120 fps, it takes twice as much time for your controller input to show up on screen.

A lot of PS3 exclusives have the same problem.

Uncharted 2 for example. I played it. I had a blast, it's a great game, but after I was done and had tried out the multiplayer for a couple of weeks, I felt no need to go back to it.

God of War III, same story. Fantastic experience, but there's little reason to play it again.

If you're talking about visuals, then the argument was over when both consoles' specifications were finalized.

But if you're talking about gameplay, then I must disagree. There's nothing to suggest that PS3 exclusives are "more fun" than 360 exclusives.

How many people play Halo 3? Is it because Xbox 360 owners don't have any other games to play? That isn't true. There are many multiplatform games released each year, and ...

I think Nintendo has somewhat of an issue. They don't have many first party studios, either.

I doubt you played Halo 3.

It's one of the most content-heavy games out there and you're saying it's shameful? That borders on blasphemy to me. How can you be so dense?

5813d ago 4 agree6 disagreeView comment

Do you think that's actually an issue?

5813d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

Maybe. But I think that Kinect hasn't shown much promise. CNET, I think, is being too optimistic. I'm waiting on a killer app. One killer app will make me understand the potential of kinect to a broad market. I think kinect can do a few things well, but none of those things are innovative or new. Microsoft is marketing Kinect as being something very revolutionary, and even if it's a good product, it's going to get negative feedback if it doesn't do something revoluti...

I don't think there's anything wrong with 30 fps. 60 fps to me looks like I'm watching a soap opera. 30 fps feels cinematic.

30 is optimal for consoles.

You're right. I think people should just call this SKU for what it is, a reliable 360 with a couple of features that should have been standard a long time ago. That doesn't make this a bad SKU, but people are praising it so much as if it's new tech.

It may still be a worthy purchase for those gamers who were holding off on buying a 360 until they became more reliable.

5813d ago 3 agree4 disagreeView comment

Why do you assume that they're marketing it to you?

Edit: Nvm. I just saw that CNET says that if you're a current 360 owner there are plenty of reasons to upgrade. Personally, right now I don't think it is the right time to upgrade. If your current 360 works, then continue to play it. One day, if it craps out, the 360S will probably cost a lot less than it does now, and it will be a worthy purchase then.

I still don't think that MS is ma...

Lionhead, it's coming out NEXT February. And the haters above are annoying. The game looks phenomenal and it's only pre-alpha.

The publisher makes all the money it's going to make on the game when it ships it to a retailer. The retailer pays the publisher's share of the game when it purchases it. And then whatever money the retailer makes from selling it to a consumer belongs to the retailer.

I've said this before. The publisher or manufacturer of a product doesn't give a damn if the game sells to a consumer or not. As long as the retailer has anticipated demand for a game and pai...

Dude, fuck Microsoft's shareholders. They're the ones who prevent Microsoft from taking big risks. They actually hold back Microsoft. If it wasn't for the shareholders, MS would have supported the HD-DVD, and the Courier, and who knows what else.

Fuck the shareholders. This isn't to say that Kinect isn't a bad move. It probably is, but there have been dozens of good concepts that Microsoft has worked on and then inexplicably dropped because their shar...
