So, I took the day off (Home Studies LOL) University to play the Beta. Played the Alpha, and was absolutely knocked off my chair, amazing!!!
I'm an American, based in the UK for School. Received a code from Amazon UK for preordering. I set up a Bungie acc. as instructed, input the code, and now I gotta like wait for Bungie to email a 2nd code??

Used to be Japan was the trend setter and home of console gaming. Something needs to reinvigorate the Console business in Japan.
Whether that's Xbox One or PS4 is irrelevant. Nintendo didn't create their Wii U gaming pad on a whim. Mobile rules Japan at the moment. Less and less investment is going into AAA development.
Thank the pixel Gods, western audiences still have a healthy appetite for Home Console Gaming ;)
Competition is good! ...what's to worry. I'm sure most gamers want consoles to succeed regardless.

It's great that 'Gaming' is on the up! PC, PS4, X1 & Wii U. How can any serious gamer find a negative in that?

Lulz @gamers saying "don't hold your breath" regarding AAA PS4 games being in 60fps, because they believe (or hope) it'll mostly apply to Indie games.
Most developers (inc. Sony W.W. Studios), have not come close to mastering the PS4 compute units. When they do, expect 1080p/60fps to become the standard for games that most benefit. At least within Sony' own studios.
It'll only be the most visually demanding games that may hamper the ...

So long as it doesn't fluctuate @60fps making scenes slightly judder, then I don't care. Either way, a game in this style really didn't need 60fps.
IMO, It's just nice to have the option. 08/01/14 UK release date.

Hard to understand why Sony don't just make PS4-Lite versions of Key games like Infamous SS, Uncharted 4 etc...I mean, didn't Sony state the PS4 was developed to closely perform well with Vita?
How hard would it be to scale down certain PS4 games? Include content that didn't make the cut, maybe switch around the layout of maps, and the positioning of enemies. Some gamers own both PS4/Vita, which could make it worth the re-play.
