Ask yourself this, why would Remedy go to a Playstation only developer, It's quite obvious they are there to learn how to code for the PS4, also, isn't the ICE team based there.

Kinda funny though, the 360 guys last gen were ripping apart PS3 games for the very same reason, however, this gen, with the roles reversed, all of a sudden, resolution doest matter and "who cares man, just enjoy your games man".
Genuine has a strong point though, (not dissing the game here, as i love it's premise) but Unravel is hardly pushing any console to it's limits, 1080p@60 should be achievable with this type of game on all consoles, yet here we all...

Would be interesting to see what Sony's ICE team can do with Vulkan as PS4 is based off Open GL itself.
With MS investing millions on there server structure, i think the next Xbox as such will be like PS Now. A small box with HDMI and Ethernet connection.

I'am not gonna disagree with anything you say, but for me, my PC is my hobby, i love tinkering with it, TBH, if you know what your doing, upgrading components on your PC every 12-18 months is unnecessary. My last major build was in 2011 when i built my current rig, CPU, MOBO, RAM, PSU and GPU, the only thing i have upgraded is the GPU, the rest i have either overclocked to ekk out extra performance or upgraded firmwares.
I plan to due my next upgrade next year when DDR4 RAM drops...
Pretty happy with my PC, PS4, PS3 and Vita combination for my gaming needs, recently got a Shield TV, been playing a few games on there, but nothing that draws me back, i bought it more for it's media player capabilities.
PS4 has a massive year ahead with a ton of exciting games and to top it off, PSVR launches soon.

For me, it was about getting a PS4 because of the IP's i loved so much on PS2 and PS3. I knew long term, games like Uncharted, Rachet and Clank and Gran Turismo would eventfully appear on the PS4 at some point, but other and new IP's have confirmed the PS4 as MY console of choice, games like Killzone, Drivelub, The Order and Bloodbourne.
I will be sitting there with credit card in hand, C'mon Sony, price it sensibly.
Having seen both the Oculus & Hive prices, Sony need to undercut the Oculus price to really have a chance.
