What? Do we live in the dark ages or something? My gaming rig is attached to my TV in the lounge, where i can sit comfortably on my couch playing PC games using a DS4. Not all PC gamers play there games hunched over thier desks in darkend bedrooms and basements.

Dont take this the wrong way, but why would a serious PC gamer want to downgrade his/her user experience buy playing the same game on a inferior machine that is sat some 10 meters away in your own home.
Right from the get go, you want to play on the machine that gives you the best graphics and fps.

You are kidding right? Sony have been doing crossplay successfully for years with PS4 and Vita.

Hey, i had a X1 and sold it, i'am very happy with my gaming PC, PS4 and Vita for my gaming needs, also over the moon that X1 exclusives are coming to PC.
Dont believe me, Gamertag is Snipercontrol.
Right....the guy bragged about the X1 being the best selling console a week after E3, pure desperation.

I don't think it's about people suddenly buying PC's to play QB, it's about getting current PC owners to buy a X1 to play QB.
Like i said below, i was going to re-buy an X1 just to play QB(as i bought the orig X1 just to play this game before it got delayed) but this announcement has put a end to that, i am now going to spend that money upgrading my PC to play QB.
Overall, it's good for MS, more money, however,...

You make a very valid point, what is the incentive for PC gamers to buy an X1 now when exclusives are coming to PC?
I recently flirted with the idea of re-buying a X1 to play this game but held off as i knew something like this would happen, i mean it's a no brainer, this game is a console seller which would have shifted alot of X1's, i would have bought the QB bundle in April.

You say that, but prime example is RoTTR which offered slightly better visuals and framerate for double the spec.
Another example is The Division, a game with again slightly better visuals and framerate over consoles, yet double the spec requirements.
QB is also using DX12, which if the hype is to be believed, is supposed to ease requirements due to it's coding closer to the metal, yet requires triple the requirements.
With these required top end ...
The 16GB ram requirement is just stupid, no game should need that amount of RAM, it's pure overkill which points to poor optimization. I thought DX12 was supposed to use less resources, not bloody triple them!
Like many other ports this gen, this will be another p155 poor console port with slightly better graphics than the x1 version yet have triple the requirements.
Dont get me wrong, i'll be getting this game and i will be running it on ultra.
That is great news!. Def get on PC, knew this news was coming, already have Alan Wake on Steam, so that doesn't bother me.
I've said it in the past and i'll say it again, by far, the best console racer this gen, hands down, nothing comes close.
