Did the same, paid a liitle extra and got myself a nice Asus Strix GTX980ti.
Although, i wouldn't say the xbox was done, plenty of peeps out there who just want a easy plug & play solution to play xbox games.
I went on a business trip to Japan last year and took my lads PSTV with me, i plugged it into my hotel rooms TV and played on my PS4(PS4 is in the UK), i was very impressed, hardly any lag at all.
I recently bought a second Nvidia Shield TV for the bedroom TV and managed to sideload the modified PS Remote Play app on to it, it works brilliantly, as a added bonus, you can also use a wired USB DS4 controller to play the PS4 games(better than the Nvid controller, that thing is way to bulky).
Just hope that Sony bring official support to non Sony android devices.
Shaun!
My PS3 sits next to my PS4, in the two years since PS4 launched, i have hardly touched it, i keep adding all the games from PSN+ to the library, but there are to many games on PS4 to play first.

"This is also why MS can move so fast compared to the competition"
LMAO, MS have been late to to market with every bit of technology they've done, MP3 players, phones, tablets, consoles, console peripherals, gfwl, they have failed on so many levels.
The only feedback ms listen to is the lack of kerching kerching on thier cash register.
You stated your opinion, but actual facts state otherwise.
@vforvideogames
"Wonder how people will react when they find out that No Mans Sky is coming to windows"
Difference is, Sony always stated console exclusive, they never said it was exclusive to PS4 as MS stated with QB. It's logical to think there would be a PC version with the words "Console Exclusive"
Er, ED may be £25 now, but during production and when it released on PC it was priced at £40, it was £50 if you wanted early beta access, the Horizon expansion cost me a further £35, which added planetary landings and a buggy.
How is NMS to expensive?
It's articles like these that also get approved the quickest, mostly by the other side of the fence, but that goes for both sides as well.
Just the nature of n4g.
As for UC4 & NMS, both have the potential to dissapoint depending on which side of the above mentioned fence you sit.
For me, i cant bloody wait for both, Uncharted is one of my favorite IP's of all time, NMS is what i love about exploration games, just flying around doing my ...
Well said.
Really looking forward to this game, one of my must haves of 2016, hopefully it launches with VR support at the same time as PSVR.
"I know you are trying your best to bash MS and Xbox any chance you get..but this is taking it to chronic level. :/"
Dont you think as a consumer that i have a right to complain about a faulty product such as wua, i have spent a considerable amount of my time and money to build a highend gaming PC to play games at maximum settings.
The arrogant attitude of some in here absolutely dumfounds founds me, if the game doesn't work on PC buy a x1 and play it th...
What a misguided and arrogant statement to make, I have over 50 games on my PS4, over 150 games on my PS3 and over 200 games on my PC.
@darth
Once again, i don want to play it on X1, i want to play the damn game on PC, where ms also released the game.
The only petty thing is that you guys are defending ms to the hilt for what is clearly a broken product, wua simply does not work for AAA games, MS are going to have/had two major games releases in Tomb Raider and QB and both games are big time gimped.
Edit: i forgot to metion Gears, another game suffering to to wua restrict...
Rook, i want to be able to play a game at it's fullest potential, the way the dev intended it to be, besides it's not about Remedy, it's about AAA games being classed as crappy mobile games, the wua is the culprit here.
@Rook below
But it's not just TR, Gears is suffering bigtime as well due to wua restrictions.
We all moan about unfinished broken games, clearly wua is a broken app, i find it hard to believe that MS had no clue abou...
@darth
That argument can go both ways, i dont have a X1 and i dont particularly want one, but i do have a PC that can play QB(stupidly gimped), a game that is being released by ms on it.
@darth
"Playing it on the XB1 yields the same gameplay experience as the PC without the issues presented in the article. Hence... play it on an XB1 if you can't on a PC"
Wow, you sound just like Don Matrick there.
What about those PC gamers that don't want to waste money on a X1? MS are releasing there games over two platforms, why should PC gamers have to pay for a game that is gimped.
A platform doomed to failure if they dont please the PC community that they are trying to embrace.
I dont rally give a toss where i buy a PC game from, be it Steam, GOG or the Win store(well, not origin as they charge to much), but i would like to play that game on max settings on a PC that i have spent considerable money on to play games at max settings.
My PS4, PS3 and gaming PC are all attached to my TV in the living room, i can play all three from the comfort of my couch.
It's just you i'am afraid, every gamer i know has there consoles in the living room.
