@Castillo
It sold out with-in 15 minutes on the European Amazon stores last week, it sold out with-in 4 minutes on the American Amazon store today and you cant see the demand from that?
It doesnt matter about who got allocated what, Sony will fulfil orders according to demand, that's how business works. Right now, Sony are seeing a huge demand and will probably allocate more PSVR's accordingly.
Does it matter how many units were available for pre-order?
What matters more, is that there is a huge demand and interest from the general public for PSVR.
I bet you didnt ask the same question about Rift and Hive selling out in similar times.
I for one, pre-ordered mine from the UK Amazon last week, cant bloody wait!!
@Death
Man, you are grasping at desperate straws here, lol, isnt UC4 SP 1080p native? It looks just as good, if not better than QB.
Once again, nope.
My TV has a 120 refresh rate and is HDMI 2.0.
My PC also has a GTX980ti, with which i have played plenty of games at 4k. RotTR on my PC pumps out at around 4K hitting around 40 fps average.
Neither MS or Remedy have confirmed 1080p native, on the other hand they haven't denied it.
MS would be jumping from the roof if the game was 1080p, thier PR mouthpiece Greenburg would have had Twitter followers in a frenzy by now.
"From what I have seen the upscalers in UHDTV's and GPU's do an outstanding job of creating a 4K image from lower resolution assets"
Nope, that's not true. i have a 18 month old Sammy 4K TV, 1080p upscaled to 4K images look awful, it looks like the sharpness has been turned up to max and jaggies are quite visible as the TV's internal processor struggles to keep up, the larger the screen, the larger the picture corruption.
It's quite a wel...
Ah, i see, last i heard was the guy who designed RCTW actually jumped ship and started working on Planet Coaster with Frontier.
Frontier have offered me a early bird access to the Alpha, but i'll be dammed if i'am paying £50 for the privilege, i'll get the game on release with my backers discount.
"For those of you who don’t know much about Frontier, they are the developers of Roller Coaster Tycoon 3. With a twelve-year gap since the release of Roller Coaster Tycoon 3"
Confused here, so whats this then? http://www.rollercoastertyc...
Anyway, looking forward to Planet Coaster, i backed this game way back when.
I play PCars quite regularly using my DK2 and have no ill effects, however, when i first started using VR, it would make me sick to the stomach. The human body and mind is very versatile, it will adapt.
Thanks Epic, must off missed that one.
What on earth are you talking about? PS4.5??
Link?
Had my DK2 for 19 months now, at first it made me green to the stomach, especially on coaster demos, however, now i dont feel anything, the human body will adapt, i can easily spend a couple of hours in Elite Dangerous in VR.
I've literally spent hours inside VR playing Elite Dangerous, without any side effects. Those new to VR will probably get motion sickness but your body will adapt very quickly.
When i first got my DK2 over a year and a half ago, i would be green to the stomach after the coaster demos, but now i feel nothing.
Have a strong feeling that ea are gonna mess this game up, there recent record of producing good games is totally dire.
Just use VorpX. Been playing GTA5 in VR for ages.
I said when MS were hyping the hell out off dx12 that people need to keep there expectations for dx12 in check, the PC community has seen this time and time again with dx10 and dx11.
MS like to drive the hype but actually deliver very little when it counts.
Looks amazing, cant wait.
Just pre-ordered this morning from Amazon UK!
Not really into MP games, but i'll get this for PSVR, looks fun as hell.
I did my own benchmarks using the internal benchmarker in RotTR, i got a .07 increase in FPS on dx12 over dx11. There was also a lot of pop up on dx12 as well.
I said back when that people should keep thier expectations for dx12 in check, the PC community has seen it all before with dx10 and dx11. MS hyped the crap out of those as well.
