So because it has a good story it deserves to sell as much as Gta v? No, quit being so melodramatic towards a game dude, it's incredibly archetypal on this Sony sucking site. "I've been thinking about the ending for weeks." Get over yourself.
GTA V deserves the sales far more, just because TLOU is less popular- quit feeling sorry for it. Rockstar put in thrice the effort in gta v, compared to ND with TLOU. The scope of GTA V's world alone, is GOTY. Rockstars dev...
TLOU already looks great on ps3, I wanna see GTA V on ps4 on 60fps, with better textures and trailer-like character models.
God ND fanboys, calm down about the whole AI thing.

-2013 was a good year.
Why, because GTA 5's story isn't as melodramatic? The gameplay, lighting, physics, and detail are far more superior in GTA 5, mechanically too. People act like TLOU is the underdog compared to GTA 5, so they want it to win, but face it- Rockstar put in far more work in GTA 5 than TLOU, and it's far more funner.
God, people literally worship NaughtyDog/TLOU on this site. So melodramatic and archetypal. The games not even amazing, it just has good cutscenes. Boring and repetitive gameplay! It's so annoying how whenever TLOU loses a GOTY award from any certain site, you fans get so butthurt, then when TLOU does attain a GOTY award from a certain site, you fans take in self pride and honor.
Typical sentimental TLOU fan.
"I love this game, so emotional. The characters t...
Jeez, so typical- everyone brings down GTA V's overall appeal because of the online that is currently functional as of today. So what, did you guys wait 2 weeks after the games initial release until you could finally criticize GTA 5's crappy online launch score somehow effecting the whole game?
And you're just butthurt rockstar got the award people go crazy for- the VGX GOTY award (most popular one). Face it, without TLOU's compelling dialogue and cutscenes that you melodramatic Sony fanboys crave for, it's nothing special. The gameplay is repetitive and isn't unique whatsoever. Stealth, kill, stealth, kill- all in linear environments.
Well, it's your opinion. I greatly anticipated the title, and it lived up to the hype in my opinion. And TLOU isn't a masterpiece in my book, sorry, but I like gameplay more than story. TLOU had good voice acting and cutscene animations, but that's all I liked honestly. The gameplay got old fast- I always had to sneak past some enemies, if I get spotted, I'd have to fight my way past them, or hide again. Most of the missions are like that, and people say TLOU brought new stuff...
terrible choices CVG. Super Mario Galaxy? Really? i mean, the game was fun, and they changed it up a bit, but it's nothing special at all.
Here's a how a lot of gamers see it. They think TLOU deserves GoTY because of it's exceptional narrative and voice acting, and they think GTA V shouldn't deserve it because it's the most popular game currently. We all saw the angry comments at VGX GoTY for 2013. GTA 5 isn't like CoD, Rockstar still put a lot of hard work and effort into it, they added so many small details in the map, the scope and lighting is impressive too, and the physics from euphoria. Car crash effect...
GTA 5 for me, the scope of the game is amazing with its detail. GTA 5's gameplay is constantly fun for me, weather i'm ramping waves on a jet-ski, flying under bridges in a jet, diving into the water off a pier then proceeding to knife a shark, fist fighting hobos, robbing a minimart, customizing a sports car, or just simply blowing up cop cars. The story is good too, not as good as GTA IV's more serious toned narrative which i preferred more, but it has funnier satire, and well- ...
GTA V
I hate how everyone says "robbed." As if it's even dramatic lol. It was VGX's council opinion, and they thought it should simply go to GTA V, fair enough. And no more of the usual "they only gave it to GTA V because it's the most popular currently." because last year they handed the award to TWD S1.
My Top 3
1. Trevor Philips
Is the best new character of 2013. He's so unpredictably hilarious. I chuckled all the time during his cutscenes, and when Michael calls him a hipster. love Rockstar's satire, and humor.
2. Michael De Santa/Townley
The most realistic character of the three in GTA V. He's smart, a marksman, and his story was interesting with the family drama, and pressure of Trevor, the FIB, and Martin Mandrazo.

Grand Theft Auto v
Grand Theft Auto V,
It's radio and dynamic musical score won it for me.
Grand Theft Auto V!
I never understood the love Ellie gets from fans. She obviously is written well with a well voice actress, but her character, i personally do not enjoy. She's stubborn, and a little too angry.
