No, I don't think it can better Rockstar's GTA V. GTA V's scope, attention to the littlest details, physics, and lighting are all exceptional and greatly optimized for the PS3 and 360. Hell, WD on PS4 barely looked better. I find WD's nighttime lighting stale, and the contrasted is overdone. Now, not everyone may like GTA V's story, but personally I did. Trevor was a hilarious character, and missions were dynamically structured with the 3 characters, and tendencies built u...
"Hardly anything in its massive map." That's quite ignorant sir. WD has nothing on GTA V's scope. Don't get be all ostentatious on your keenness towards WD because it's next-gen, and has profound pedestrian detail. Just look how sophisticated and ideally optimized GTA V is for a current gen game. No other game beats it when it comes to scope impelled and fostered by attentive detail. Hacking; in my opinion, is overzeleaously over-rated. I have no interest in performi...
That's nice dear, but Rockstar is still the master of little details.
Nice
Not sure if you're assuming my comments sound like a fanboy diatribe because I think Infamous: SS looks better than WD, or because I didn't space my paragraphs. Either way, don't assume I'm a profound Infamous fanboy because i casually used Second Son as an example of a next-gen title looking better than WD on PC. I used it as an example because it's an open world game, and so is WD.
In my opinion, I think Second Son looks better than WD on PC. The lightin...
I think the title of this post is a bit hyperbolical. The 3 characters didn't ruin the game; however, they did hinder parts of the narrative's structure. For instance, I'm surprised the game only had 69 missions (better be a coincidence Rockstar, otherwise it's your saddest 69 joke yet), considering there are 3 protagonists; however, GTA 5's missions are the most overwhelming and fledged out of any other GTA game. I feel like the initial narrative was doing well, Franklin ...
Not that impressive Ubisoft. I can't believe they're bragging about their "dynamic physics". At Pax Prime 2013, I got to watch a 10 minute demo show of WD, along with AC4. I saw Havok physics in action as the player (a Ubisoft developer) ran over several pedestrians. The rag-doll was a disappointing and customary presentation, and was nowhere at par with euphoria's exceptional procedurally animated physics. Furthermore, the crash effects on vehicles are pre-set variants,...
Liberty City may appear in GTA Online, who knows.
Good read. In my opinion, the GTA series evolved more than any other game has.
Infamous's Seattle isn't even accurate to the real one, kinda disappointing.
What's with all the hate on gta 4. "Oh good graphics, but the game sucks." People blindly ignore the amazing euphoria physics this game displays, and attention to the tiniest details that still rival most open world games today, and bash the game by comparing it to San Andreas. GTA 4 may not have dildos, planes, or the GYM, but it fostered the series in storytelling, animation, and graphics (at the time). Let's not forget GTA 4 (a 2008 game) has better physics and vehicular ...
And? Rockstar deserved the success. They're one of the few developers who actually care for quality and detail.
Oh, everyone's a rebel when the "don't care" for GTA- the more popular, successful, and polished game. We've got a badass over here.
Huh, graphics got toned down as far as vehicle resolution, ground texture detail, and lighting. Wonder why.. GTA V looks better for the most part.
Nice, only 3 more days. The new vehicles look sick, and the assault rifle.
Yeah good luck. Does she not realize the world of GTA V is purely fictional?
Everyone here is acting like the new story DLC will only have Assassination missions and Flight Challenges. Quit being ostentatious, obviously were gonna see new story missions, new weapons, vehicles and outfits, and possible some new mini-games.
TLaD, TBoGT, and RDR were all like that. So quit bashing this game by sarcastically being skeptical.
singe player content. GTA V with GTAO packaged has more content than any other Rockstar game. In my opinion, the exceptional scope, physics, graphics (lets not forget the awesome lighting!) compensate for whatever content GTA V didn't have that was included in SA.
Yeah, but don't worry- Rockstar is constantly teasing. Obviously the new story DLC will have missions, new vehicles, weapons, outfits, and side missions. Undead Nightmare, TLaD, and TBoGT were like that.
I don't see Michael relating like Tommy much. The only similarity is that Tommy had to give Sonny money, and Michael had to give Madrazo money for destroying his house. Michael is a family man, and he was being forced back into the game of performing audacious heists, or the FIB would blackmail him. Tommy on the other hands, moved away from Liberty to Vice City in order to meet new contacts and gain revenue off assets in order to get money. Initially he did a drug deal but it was ambushe...
