Agreed, I spent a good 15 hours on the game so far and it was only the first chapter.
I can definitely see where you're coming from. The big thing is, it's Bungie and it's still an FPS. Since having played the alpha and beta I'd say it's similar but it's not as close as you'd think. Have you played it at all yet? I will say though, the competitive certainly gives off that vibe.
I've seen the soccer ball and big purple looking ball at the Tower so far. Did they have a beach ball? That's awesome =P They really should just keep throwing random stuff into the Tower for events/holidays.
I'm just imagining a bicycle alongside any of the other crazy vehicles in Destiny =P

Yeah definitely agree here, it'd be nice to see the franchise revived. Granted I'm not looking for it to get ruined by yearly titles, but I'd like to see something nevertheless.
I worked alongside her for a bit a couple years ago, she used to do a lot of work for MMORPG.com. Mostly video work from what I recall, potentially some written.

Yeah mostly it was just to make a point that it's possible in Unity 3D. It's just a matter of it actually being balanced and set up where you don't die immediately after spawning. And that doesn't mean a three second invulnerability either =P

Good but bad article. Entertainment Software Association(ESA) which all three are part of still supports SOPA. Also, music parts of Sony still support SOPA.

Apparently Activision was going to sell them and their titles but I'm going to safely assume they didn't. As the logo is there and Activision is on the site, it's certainly them. There's gotta be some sort of announcement at Gamescom but it's hard to say what.
