I think you'll come across people, but you just won't realize it to be honest.
The article likely won't get as much attention as it's after the craze of all the petty articles on the situation alongside the gamer's are dead stuff.
Your article likely didn't get as much attention due to this as well. We're relaying information when GG isn't in the spotlight as much as it was.
The website launched in June, we're still piecing it together and that's why we don't have an editorial section. However, it's being added tonight. Our focus since June has been on news with occasional reviews/previews.
The reason the article is an editorial is because it's an opinion. Any article that speaks in the first person is not a news or feature article. That's how journalism works.
Also, it's less against GG, it's more...
That's good to see then. I mentioned in the article near the end, how its a rarity to see any good press on the video game industry outside of it.
Hopefully the announcement of an announcement will be worth waiting for!
That's why I'd assume there's a good chance at this being a release date.
The Q&A will probably focus mainly on PC as it'll likely be before the announcement. Nevertheless, they're telling us something about the PS4, it's just a matter of what. If it's still releasing this year, it's likely a release date.
After having watched the video you really can't help but get pumped up for it! It's great too because the developers address the people looking to hop in and play as well as the people that love messing with the level design.
Yeah I like the cartoony art style they're going with, it's certainly been getting a bit more popular lately.
It's crazy to see Blizzard jump to an FPS since its pretty out of their genre; but with the conglomerate they are, I believe in it.
Yeah, they've definitely gotten some brownie points for not making it something you have to pay for, but it is still disappointing nevertheless. But hey, better late than never.
There is always the all publicity is good publicity. But, it's debatable depending on the situation. In this case I think more people will learn the name of the game, but it won't affect purchases positively.
Yeah it's nice to see Sterling's thoughts on the matter but man, that developer really went all out. Attacking a reviewer/critic won't help your cause, you might as well just punch a journalist.
Yeah we haven't heard anything since August, I'll have to see if I can find out anything!
As Ashunderfire86 mentioned, it looks like they're going to have more of a Demon/Dark Souls thing going where players can invade another player's world at any time. However it's hard to say how it'll work that way since the whole becoming a zombie is only a pre-order bonus. Plus, you'd imagine there's gotta be a way for people to say they don't want players in their world. There's only the one zombie type players can be, a "Hunter" and from the traile...
Aaaand nobody corrected me on my released typo =P Sorry about that, not going to put in an update above it to say that I did that.
This reminds me of how the Gearbox guys always have something going on with their Twitter for Borderlands with the many, many characters that take over it. A few of the tweets are definitely silly and can't hurt to get a little attention.
Yeah exactly my thoughts on this, it's not too far off from the holiday season then. I was getting worried after seeing all the trailers that they're just going to keep hyping it up and then it's going to release really late =P
It'll be $14.99 and 13.99 EU.
It's apparently going to have that same session-esque lobby type thing since I can't explain it well =P Where you can randomly bump into other people's sessions.
