Call me crazy but hiring someone to work on cover based combat is not the same as saying the whole game will be cover based. And in fact cover based game play just wouldn't make sense so I think people are freaking out a little preemptively. As for the online how are people surprised about this. It's been confirmed to be a multiplayer title since it was announced.

I agree with most everything your saying and while it is true this game is lower budget than most triple A games it is not solely funded by kickstarter. They have been very open about receiving outside funding for the game as well
Or maybe people that would like to play with friends while playing on the platform of their choosing. Just sayin

First of all yes they do (Sure Xbox one less so than PS4) and second of all my point is that Nintendo should avoid talking about resolution considering that it's never been something they cared about
While I will agree Nintendo isn't wrong in this case they're console still doesn't even consistently do 1080p.
It's likely they're ramping up for a big holiday surge. But it is Nintendo and it's likely that even with that it won't be enough for everyone that wants a switch to get one
