I'm right there with you. Maybe in a year or 2 when it is 20 bucks for the edition that comes with everything I'll check it out but otherwise I can't say I'm all that interested in giving money to ubisoft.

Edit: I take it back that trailer was fuckin sick.

I mean you do you but Rebirth has more content than of ff7 and it isn't close.

My body is ready...

it is definitely Starfield right? I mean my hope is that its a Gears collection so that we can maybe hope for a steam version that I could play on my deck but I feel like the logical conclusion is that this is Starfield.

You're not wrong but the game is a new IP with nothing really special about it. How many shooters come and go in today's market? It never stood a chance. I'm glad it failed though because Sony turning their AAA studios into sausage factories is something I definitely want to see discouraged.

It's worth noting that they released a teaser image a while back with a Lynx Medallion.

I really enjoy playing as Geralt but I am willing to give the next one a shot. Although I admittedly was a little disappointed when I heard we would no longer be playing as Geralt.

Has this actually been a nightmare? I casually pre-ordered mine on direct at like 3pm with no issues.

This is true of literally any IP as old as Tomb Raider.

I'm sorry but do you honestly believe Sony will sit out of A.I. Every executive at every one of these publishers is wetting themselves in delight at the prospect of A.I. You best believe that once we start seeing it spread throughout the industry Sony won't be too far behind. The only people we'll have to blame are the consumers themselves.

This might be his last run tho, I hope he has looked into training a protege

Remember this is the company that said "By all metrics" Hi-Fi Rush was super successful. That game had a lower budget, spent less time in development, and was universally acclaimed.

Now repeat after me, class. Corporations are not our friends and don't care about us. If they're acting like they do it is only in the interest of their bottom line.

This goes for SONY, NINTENDO, MICROSOFT, EXXON MOBIL, WELLS FARGO, LITERALLY ALL OF THEM.

@Crows90 It was in 2020 and despite what a vocal minority says it was critically acclaimed and the 2020 game of the year. Not only that but The Last of Us is also a critically acclaimed television series and PlayStation's most successful foray into Film and TV yet.

So yes, Naughty Dog is bigger than ever, and just because you don't vibe with them or whatever does not change that fact.

you know it's not his fault that people are interested in what he says, right?

Also, Naughty Dog is bigger than ever.

It depends on your definition of good I guess. I use my Steam deck to play my games natively when I'm away from my PC so admittedly when I'm on the deck fidelity doesn't matter as much to me.

Most games listed as playable are only that way due to needing to use the on-screen keyboard or some adjacent thing.

Amplitude beat me to it. I'd like to add that games like returnal and ratchet and clank rift apart run on the deck and those are actual ps5 games.
