I don't think it's likely that valve hasn't tested windows heavily on this thing. Infact the only reason I think windows isn't installed is because of wanting to keep cost and price as low as possible
The opportunity to do that has sailed long ago. God of war 2018 could have been a reboot introducing a new main character. They did not. Kratos is the main character and should something happen to him Atreus will likely be the next.
Jeff Grubb does not have a spotty rep. Also if this were something Kojima himself is working on it wouldn't invalidate Kojima signing a letter of intent to work with MS. Kojima has and does work on multiple projects.

I disagree about taking on an original project. They're not really a studio of creatives. If anything I hope they get the opportunity to expand and increase the size of their pipeline. I wouldn't mind going from 1 remake every 2-3 years to 1 remake every 1-2 years

Lol, I love you. PC is not the way to go if you want a cheap way to play games. I just built a PC back in 2019 and I have a 2080 super 3TB in SSD. 4TB HDD. 32 gigs of RAM and an unlocked i7. This cost me 2000 dollars to build and while it will run anything I throw at it, I still prefer playing on my Ps5.
After building my PC, if you asked me would I rather have a top-of-the-line PC or a switch, an Xbox, and a PS5. I'm taking the big 3 over PC Master race membership.
Companies like MS Sony and Nintendo are supposed to entice prospective players by offering content not found on other platforms. Sony and Nintendo have been doing this for years and MS has been sorely lacking in this department for a very long time.
