Sigh. My point is that people still buy dedicated devices. Instead of wasting my phone's batteries on playing music I have an MP3 player. Same will go with the VITA. Instead of trying to game on my phone I have device that does gaming.

I understand 5 hours. I wish it were more but I understand it. I suppose it was wishful thinking to believe all that raw power wouldn't drain the battery. Yawn. I love how everyone tries so hard to bring down our games. I have seen the R3 commercial plenty of times and it is already out selling Dead Island in the UK on the PS3. Oh come now, really? First of all I don't understand why gamers want other people to be excited for their games fo them. Go be excited for your games yourself. I saw an article with new footage of Gravity Daze from TGS and it had only ten people in it but I don't go around accusing everyone here of trying to downplay GD.

How exactly is it a smart move to make you pay more money for something that should have been in the original design in the first place? Since when is that a 'smart move' for anyone to do that? I always thought everyone hated when companies did that? Now it just looks like they panicked when they saw the VITA had two joysticks.
Yawn. Everyone is so gleeful to finally find something wrong with the VITA that they can truly make a big deal about. 5 hours without Wifi and 3 hours with. I was hoping for more too but 5 hours of gameplay was about the same amount for the PSP and it had less features and power and people managed with it. Unless you play the game constantly for 5 hours without stopping you have no worries. People barely play phone games for more then 20 to 30 minutes and you plan to play for 5 hours straight...
