How could he have forgotten M&M Kart racing? Gawd.
I still don't agree with the part where he said Wii Play is an honorable mention as a trash game. Certainly, it's not a great game, but for the $10 you pay for the game, it's really not that bad. Some of the minigames in it are really trashy, and their removal would've, over-all, made the game seem better. But you've got the tank game, air hockey, table tennis, and pool. Those are all actually pretty good. It's still only wor...
Ahhh, I can see the updated graphics! From gray to brown!
Some guy on a forum doesn't sound like an inside source to me ;)
Dark Overlord: I explained why I think DrWan made a stupid assumption.
As for the adapters and stuff, wouldn't that cost more than a couple of games I bought? Not to mention my TV's downstairs, and my computer's upstairs, so...
Also, yes... many N64 roms don't work perfectly on computers. Hence why most of the games I've bought are N64 games.
Yes, I've played roms before. I've beaten dozens and dozens of roms. But I just want some of my favorite games ...
Xakep, I'm sorry, I should've clarified.
Saying "You can't say something is stupid because you don't have to buy it!" is stupid.
I facepalm'd at the part where they called Metroid and FPS.
...Ugh.
Maybe I get fun out of playing it with a classic controller instead of a shoddy keyboard set-up? Maybe I enjoy having them for eternity in one location no matter what happens (I bought LttP even though I still have a working cartridge and SNES). Maybe I enjoy playing with other people? Maybe I enjoy playing a huge screen TV instead of on a dinky little monitor? Maybe some people aren't complete morons, and realize that some games still are incapable of being played perfec...
No comment on anything besides the Horse Armor pack and VC.
Horse Armor: Ridiculous pricing. Completely agree.
VC costs: The games are fair. At my local used game store, SNES games still go for something ridiculous like $15 (which is probably why they're still there). But anyways, I remember awhile ago a study was done, and all Virtual Console games were typically priced less than what the hard copies sell for (except for one system's games... forget which one).
The games I'm looking most forward to at E3 are the ones that haven't been revealed, in addition to Spore, Little King's Story, Spyborgs (wanna know if it'll be good or not...) and maybe MadWorld. That's pretty much it, I suppose.
That's stupid logic, TheHater. You can't just say, "Well, if you don't like something, don't buy it!"
Sony charging fans for their advertising is kinda funny. I don't think they should expect to make much money off of this at all...
Wow, judging by all of the disagrees with my earlier post, it seems that many people DID buy the Wii for its ubar-sweet krisp graphix, and think that the Wii version of Top Spin 3 looks the best! Also, they think that the game won't be good if it does take control of the Wii's unique control scheme! Who'da thunk!?
/sarcasm
I hate stupid "logic"
Oh god you have absolute NO IDEA what the term "cash cow" means, fox02. You just came off sounding like an idiot.
A cash cow is something that makes a company a lot of money. And they can keep milking it for money. Hence the name, cash cow. A cash cow isn't someone who buys a product, doofus.
The Wii version isn't that bad. I mean, it's certainly no 360 or PS3 (PS3 graphics look the best, in my opinion) but isn't this obvious? The main selling point of the ...
While I agree that this is pretty obvious, and the majority of the problem does stem from casuals...
Could the problem also come from hardcore gamers who don't like the design or artwork of the new IP games? I bought Zack and Wiki and loved it, but I did wait for a price drop, and I bought it used. I am glad I didn't buy it full price. No More Heroes didn't really appeal to me. I think it was over-hyped and I have a feeling I wouldn't like it, and it wouldn't have much replay val...
This sounds really cool, guys! I think I might try to get my girlfriend to draw something up and submit it, hehehehe.
I'm sure you're making assumptions, thehitman. And when you assume... well, you know. And anyways, I only needed to give two examples, because those two examples were the only ones I've played the constantly need your Wiimote pointed at the screen, and require quick reaction times and fast moving (unlike Zack and Wiki, or Mario Galaxy, for example).
Sigh. I knew an obscure reference like that wouldn't fly. When the USSR was still kicking, the Soviets found it cheaper and more efficient to copy other country's technologies, using spies, instead of developing the technologies themselves. HURR DURR U IDIOT
Haha, enjoy your MATURE GAMES FOR MATURE PEOPLE LIKE YOU. The irony is over-whelming, considering that most 8 year-olds seem to have more common sense and maturity than you. Metroid Prime 3 has voice acting. It actually adds to the game. But there are some games that would just not be proper with voice. Can you imagine a Mario game with voice? Ugh, I don't wanna. But if you're content with playing the same shootan games for the rest of your life, I won't stop you!
I actually didn...
"The reason why I bought a PS3 is for the GAMES"
Oh dear GOD. I lol'd HEARTILY.
I seriously don't think that Microsoft and Sony are making the right moves. The whole Russian copycat approach really irks me. Even so, who's going to buy these games? Nintendo's hooked the casuals. Brand recognition and loyalty, and all that. So who exactly are MS and Sony's target market? I just... I don't see this as a good move. I hope it backfires.
Know what there's even less difference between? PC and Xbox gamers.
