Awesome. It's certainly a franchise I'd like to see more of.
I've always thought that "Can't comment!" means "We're thinking about it/We're working on it" because if they weren't, it'd just be a "No."
Great success! Boom Blox shows that casual games can be tons of fun for hardcore and casual gamers alike. Some challenges, lots of fun, lots of stuff to do, and oodles upon oodles of different modes of play, topped off with a level creator! I'm glad it's selling well. It's one of those casual titles that you can tell a lot of effort was put into.
Gotta admit, the goddamn AI pisses me off sometimes. :P
Wow, they look exactly the same? Yeah, I noticed this when I first saw it, at E3. They look identical. Well, I imagine it will eventually be coming to the Wii.
Guitar Hero Aerosmith is trash anyways, and every Guitar Hero to date has had like 3 good songs in them.
Uh... Goldeneye? Also, the King Kong game was pretty awesome. The LotR games were also pretty good, although short. And apparently Kung Fu Panda was a good children's game.
But those are only a few gems amongst a pit of trash. Most movie based games suck, because nobody dares to be creative with them, or spend time actually working on them. They just try to get them out as fast as possible in the hopes that people will eat it up. I'm GLAD the Wall-E game is doing worse than expec...
Note the second shots. There's lots of zombies in the foreground in both versions, but there's many zombies in the background of the Xbox screenshot, and none in the Wii screenshot. I couldn't care less about graphics (as long as they aren't inexcusably bad), but tons of zombies is pretty much the point of this game.
Keep E3. It can be a place where casuals can have their casual bullsh*t. Otherwise it may seep into other places, like the TGS.
Cause they put time and dedication into their games. Instead of just another "Hay! Platforman' with Ratchet and Clank again! %D"
Ever heard of Little King's Story? Or de Blob? Or Oboro Muramasa Youtouden? (I'm guessing you probably haven't heard of the last one, at least). They all look great.
Square-Enix are just a bunch of goddamn money-grubbing whores. They're my least favorite video game company by FAR. They haven't done anything new in forever. I am tempted to buy Chrono Trigger DS, but I don't think I will, just to spite them. It's not fair that they can port the game to DS and charge $40, and not put it on Virtual Console, where it belongs.
Why not? It would be a perfect opportunity to make use of the Motion Plus controls, and would be a refreshing change from the boring 3-d person view seen in Twilight Borefest.
First-person
Motion plus sword controls
Good, unlike Twilight Princess.
What the hell happened to Little Mac?
@ Disagrees: You may be right. Halo might be more over-rated...
or maybe Microsoft has a slightly bigger ego.
Too close to call.
Halo is as over-rated as Microsoft's ego is large.
Surveys are unreliable. They can define gamers as anyone who has ever played a game on a console, or people who play something such as Solitaire on the computer once every 6 months.
Durr hurr Unreleased Game X is obviously the best game of 2008 %D
Awful article.
Great, I can't watch the video cause I live in Canada. What the hell is the deal with that, anyways? Is it uploaded to Youtube, or can someone summarize the responses to the questions for me?
That's stupid. It would ruin the game. Not everything has to be so "mature." Stop being so immature.
