I hope the 360 gets some good exclusives. I don't even own one, but I feel bad for the 360 owners that have nothing good to play that justifies buying the system.
Well, I reported this story, seeing as how this place is "News for Gamers" and not "News for Non-Gamers", and that every gamer should ALREADY KNOW THIS STUFF, but I guess some people are morons and approved this story. Ho hum.
..Then where would the appeal in the game lay? The only appeal is that The Conduit will have great controls and great graphics for the system it's on. If it were announced that it's going to the PS3 and/or the 360, then you'd be left with bum controls and bum graphics. It's about as smart a marketing move as... well, I guess selling your product at a loss. (hurr)
No Goldeneye? No Half-Life? No Operation Flashpoint? No original CoD? No Counter-Strike? What a crap poll. This is why I hate today's gamers. Because they started gaming THIS GEN, they think they're hardcore as hell, and have never played anything that came out before 2004.
Uhh, I dunno... but this gotta be for Australia. Since uh, Little King's Story came out there not too long ago, and is not slated for American release until June 23rd.
If you mean a playable Kid Icarus in Punch-Out!!, why? These ideas are so bad. Just like when the last Smash Brothers was announced, you'd hear people going "Oh, well gives us Zero and Axl and Sigma and Roll XD XD and give us Robotnik and Shadow and Amy and Tails and Knuckles and Rogue and Travis Touchdown and Some Inconsequential Character from a Barely Recognized game"
These are all such bad ideas. Kid Icarus was great for Brawl, but for Punch-Out!!? What the hell?
Pachter's predicted PS3 price cuts on many different occasions. He also said that Nintendo "won" the last E3 (personally I think that nobody was a winner, and that the true losers were the people who actually watched any of them, but I digress...) when most every other place called it one of the worst E3 conferences ever. Also, he originally predicted that FF13 would NOT go multiconsole. Not that it would. You got that part wrong. He also predicted that the PS3 would beat the Wii, t...
LostWinds was a truly magnificent game. It was absolutely beautiful in every way. Charming as hell. I hope LostWinds 2 takes it a bit further than the first, and make for a bit of challenging gameplay, though.
I disagree with a few things, but the thing that struck me the most was his reasoning for WHY Nintendo should win the war. Surely you can think of a better reason than, "They lost twice before!" Especially considering their two "losses" were still very profitable.
Oh god, please don't implement movement controlled via the touch-screen & stylus. I found the controls in PH terrible, and couldn't stand playing the game. It's just not comfortable, and the stylus covers the screen. It's just such a gimmick and a hassle. I want to use the D-pad. So in addition, those "interactive battles" the guy suggests is also a terrible idea.

Who the hell would pay $100 a month for THE INTERNET?
Perhaps in graphics, but if done right, you couldn't even compare them in control.

Kirby's a great series -- don't get me wrong -- but it's decidedly casual. Kirby Superstar is one of the best platformers ever, but it's still casual.

Kirby a hardcore title? Hahahahahahha, oh come ON.
So you're saying that the 360 and PS3 controllers are better than the Gamecube controllers? Cause if so I LAUGH in your faces.

*oops, delete please*
Has Pachter been right about anything this gen, though?
Well now I have to get Guitar Hero :D

Yup, exactly. This is a day one buy for me.
I think the article makes some good points.

Very interesting read. Seems like everyone that works with Wiiware has praise for the system.
